Anna and Marnie's friendship grew deeper and deeper in the magical atmosphere of the seaside town. The mysteries of the town and Marnie's secrets began to attract Anna more and more. The party night continued with a private reception in one of the well-known mansions of the seaside town.

Marnie smiled at Anna and said, "Don't you want to join this party? You can meet the locals," she said. Anna excitedly agreed and they both got ready for the party.

However, on the night of the party, an unexpected rain came and the party was to take place outdoors. Because of the rain, plans were changed and the party would be held the next day.

The next day, Anna sat on the big rocks at the edge of the beach. She had her canvas and brush with her and was painting the seascape. The rhythm of the waves and the song of the birds inspired her.

One of the things that caught Anna's attention was an old stone building along the shore. She hadn't noticed it before, and after completing her drawing, she decided to walk curiously towards the beach.

As she walked along the beach alone, she met Hisako, an old woman. Hisako was walking slowly with a long thin cane and had laid her canvas on the sand. On the canvas was a view of the sea and the coastal town.

He watched Hisako curiously and then slowly approached her. "You seem to be interested in art. Do you paint too?" she asked.

Hisako smiled at Anna's interest and replied, "Yes, I like to paint, I especially like to capture the beauty of the seaside town on canvas."

Anna looked more closely at Hisako's paintings and felt something familiar. The nature and the sea reminded her of the beauty of a seaside town. Hisako's paintings awakened something inside Anna.

Hisako showed interest in Anna's drawings and then looked up at her. "Your drawings look like a girl I knew when I was young," she said.

Anna asked in surprise, "Really? Who was that girl?"

Hisako smiled sadly and said, "That girl's name was Marnie. She lived here many years ago," she explained.

Anna's eyes lit up because Marnie had the same name. This knowledge made Anna think that the secrets inside her were even deeper.
