-Site Involvement-

Becoming part of a project on HiH or establishing one
on your own is a sure-fire way to get to know people. There are many
opportunities to join and found them so there will be plenty of chances for you
to get into one. Also, if the project/other is well publicised and beneficial
to the HiH community, you will find that friends will be easier to make. Here
are a few suggestions:

Books:

We have an extensive library here on HiH and
co-written fan fictions, whether it involves and a large team of people or just
a pair of writers, are always very popular. It is very easy to get started on
them and recruit people using application forms and advertising. You can also
go solo and simply make some more friends by asking for feedback, which many on
here are glad to give.

Roleplays:

People love roleplay events and if you can get one
together and advertise it properly then it is sure to be a success and create
more associates. Literal event or magical adventure, many will come if you
publicise it well.

Prefects:

Every once in a while, Professors will advertise for
PA applications and many are sure to be accepted. By becoming a pa, not only
might you make friends with new students, but will also be recognised in the
community.

General
Organisation:

Why not have a finger in every pie? There are many sub
categories within and many choices you can make. The organisation of student
events is always great for meeting new people as well, and simple scheduled
discussions. Whatever your choice is, it is always good to pick one to become
somewhat recognised on the site.
