Of course, how you make friends is up to you, but on HiH, a small and close-knit community, there are some tips and tricks that will help you become more familiar with those around you.

Hello,
My name is Lilia Le Fay and I am the writer of this guide.
Now first, I must state that this is not meant to be a patronising guide for
the first-years among us who give up after a day or so. This is a guide that
will hopefully help others enter the community of HiH and stick around, as
sadly, many do not. It has also been raised as a common issue that it is hard
to make friends on the site, and this guide is intended to help you as much as
possibly with that difficult task.
This book is very short, and I apologise for the briefness.
However, it does contain the key elements to the art of making friends and ties
on HiH. I do hope it helps.
Also, before you get sick of my rambling, let me say one thing. This book is designed to help you socialise on HiH, but a lot of it is down to you. You may feel unwelcome and ignored, but really think - "Have you tried". We are happy to welcome you, but first you must make yourself known.
