Chapter 3
Love is Like Rain
It's the perfect rhythm of chaotic beauty and perfect disaster
Flower grow, dirt heals, rivers flow
Trees fall, power lines snap, wind bursts through branches
Rain is Destruction and catastrophe
Rain is comfort and joy
Rain is Perfection
We find ourselves longing for rain
Wanting our plants to grow,
Wanting our rivers to flow,
Wanting the sweet sound as we fall asleep
We find joy in the beautiful destruction
Love is destruction and catastrophe
Love is comfort and joy
Love is perfection
Love is like rain
And rain,
Reminds me of you.
