It is Christmas and the school is almost empty except for the Professors and the very few students who are staying back at Hogwarts for their Christmas vacations for various reasons. Hiya is among those very few students, staying back at Hogwarts for her Christmas vacations, and so is Rose. As they soon discover during breakfast in the Great Hall, by spotting her there, Bea is staying back at Hogwarts for her Christmas vacations, too. There are a few other students in the Great Hall, who have stayed back at Hogwarts for Christmas, many of whom Rose and Hiya do not know. After breakfast, Hiya, Bea and Rose gather in the Hogwarts library in their usual own cosy little corner, to chat and have fun. Hiya has a brilliant idea. "This is a great time to open the Chamber of Secrets" , she says, "There is barely anyone in the school and we can have the castle almost to ourselves and break curfew easily without much fear of getting caught. It is always easy to maraud using our Marauder's Maps, when there are not many people around." Rose beams, excited. Bea is interested, as usual, at the first sniff of danger she can smell. They decide to turn this into their little changeable group's next quest at Hogwarts, the quest to find and open the Chamber of Secrets.

Rose says, "Couldn't it be dangerous, though?", with a worried look on her face, "Isn't it the secret chamber made by Salazar Slytherin to kill off non-Slytherin students, where the heir of Slytherin, Tom Riddle, left a basilisk to kill others?"

 "But the basilisk is long dead, killed by our legendary hero of the wizarding world, the famous Harry Potter. Now that the basilisk has been slain, so, there is no more danger in the Chamber of Secrets. Now, it is only a closed empty underground chamber in the Hogwarts Castle, which we need to reopen, to, let's say, hold meetings, and make it our new secret meeting place?" Hiya says, beaming.

"Very adventurous" , Bea says, gleaming in delight, and clearly excited.

"No, I like the library more" , Rose says, laughing.

"Forever the careful Ravenclaw", Bea teases Rose.

"I agree with Rose about the library", Hiya says, "but, I still want to open the chamber of secrets nevertheless, just for the mystery of it, and if it turns out to be empty enough or good enough, we can use it as a more secret meeting place or as a secret hideout, if the library ever seems not good enough or secret enough for our secrets. I agree that it can still be dangerous, but we simply have to brave it."

 "Okay, I am in.  Let's do it." Rose says.

 "Me too", Bea says, forever ready for adventure and hungry for new danger.

 "Done then", Hiya says, rapping her hand on the table in the library at which they were sitting, and Bea and Rose clap their hands over hers.

 "Ok, so, what is the plan of action?" Rose asks Hiya and Bea.

 Hiya replies, "Today, after dinner, we all will assemble in the Clocktover Courtyard. Then, from there, we will proceed to the second floor girls' bathroom, where we know is the enterence of the Chamber of Secrets. I am not sure it is still there, so we need to confirm it first."

 "Oh, ok. I guess we will find it out today." Rose says and then they all decide to meet for dinner in the Great Hall. After dinner, Rose decides to check the common room ans gather some important supplies. There, she turns into Vicky, her step-brother. He asks her, where she is lurking as the curfew was going to start in a few minutes. Rose tries to lie, but fails. In the end, she has to tell Vicky the truth and he scolds her for not asking him to accompany. Rose, delighted, says, "So, you are angry with me for not asking you to come with me? Not because I am going to attempt a very adventurous and possibly, dangerous task?"

 Vicky replies, "Yeah, even I want to enter the Chamber. It will be very exciting. That way, we can spend some together as well as I can keep an you."

 Rose expresses her gratitude for Vicky's care towards her. Then, they both, move towards the Clocktover Courtyard and there, Rose and Vicky meets Hiya and Bea.

"Okay, so we have another person here to join us, that makes it great, Hello Vicky, Hello Rose, and Hello Bea. For a surprise, I have another person here for you to meet. I just met him a few days ago and I may have badgered him a little to come join us", Hiya says, with an evil smile on her face. Then she pushes a shy looking Hufflepuff guy still in his school uniform and robes towards her friends in front of her to introduce him, continuing "Please meet Solradii Bloodstone, my new and very good friend and a very kind, caring and loyal Hufflepuff who gets along easily with everyone and has a very tolerant attitude. I believe he will be very helpful to us during the quest. I call him Sol for short, I believe he will not mind if you call him Sol too."

Sol looks at them with a smile and says, "Yes, you can call me Sol too. Hello, everyone."

Everyone says hello to Sol, pleased with his calm and composed demeanor and his kind and straightforward eyes.

Rose jabs Hiya behind everyone's back and winks at her after giving her a questioning look. Hiya does not respond but keeps a straight-face and says, "Now about the Chamber of Secrets. I believe we need to know how to open it again first and whether it was closed by some special method or magic to prevent further opening, after it was opened the last time. But first, we will go to explore the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets. Let's take our Marauder's maps out and let's go towards the known entrance, through the second floor girls' bathroom as Rose told us earlier, to see if it's still there. On our way, marauders, and our friends".

Everyone cheers and claps each other's hands, then takes their Marauder's Maps out to check if there is anyone out and about in the Hogwarts castle. There seems to be no one out and about according to the Marauder's Maps as everyone has already retired to their dorms after dinner. The Professors are in their rooms or offices, and not a single soul is visible anywhere in the Hogwarts castle corridor, only a few ghosts and the poltergeist Peeves are seen in faraway corridors, looking unlikely to come away from their locations from their patterns of movement back and forth in the same place.
It is a moonlit light with the Full Moon in the sky and everyone can see each other clearly.

"Alright, we are good to go. Wands alight, everyone. You too, Vicky", Rose says, as everyone takes their wands out while Vicky looks like he is too lazy to use his wand and would prefer the moonlight instead.

Vicky says, "What is the need of casting the spell, when we have such a beautiful moonlight."

Rose takes Vicky's wand and casts the spell. They all cast the spell Lumos and advance towards the Hogwarts castle and then to the still out-of-order second floor girl's bathroom in the castle. As they reach, they find the door to the bathroom slightly ajar. Bea was in the lead as they were moving, so she pushed the door open which slightly creaked and revealed a very dark, musty, old bathroom. The taps were still there covered in a lot of dust and spiders and cobwebs and the basins were still there in the same broken and dusty condition. The lavatories fared no better.

They wondered where the ghost of Moaning Myrtle was. "She must be under the Black Lake, chatting with the merpeople", Bea says.

"Alright, what do you all know about the chamber?", Rose asks.

"That we need to open it by Parseltongue?" Sol says.

"And that means we need to find a Slytherin or someone who knows Parseltongue", Vicky says.
Rose says, "Parseltongues are supposed to be Slytherins and Harry Potter was the only non- Slytherin parseltongue, so I think we should find a Slytherin to join the quest".

"What about Lacey or Evony Senoj, the topper girl?", Hiya asks.

"Lacey would do just fine, but she is busy practising for the Inter-House Quidditch cup at Hogwarts and even sprained her leg. We will have to ask Evony, I do not know how to approach her though, as Evony does not like to talk about her past. And what about Alasia Serpens, our Slytherin group member from our library group?", Rose says.

"We will just find somebody", Hiya says and they all agree.

After their ordeal at the second floor girls' bathroom, they all turn to return to their dorms. As everyone departs, Rose stays behind a while, tagging along with Hiya towards Hiya's dorm and nudges her asking, "Who is the guy? Are you keeping secrets from me again? "

Hiya says, "Ohh Sol", with a blush on her face, "I met him in the greenhouse. He is a kind guy. He helped me correctly position a plant, which I could not figure out where to position for the correct type of sunlight. It required full sun and there was no good place left in my greenhouse plot, until Sol arranged my plant pots properly for me, so that I could place the plant in full sun. He is too smart for a Hufflepuff. Isn't he cute? " .

"Ahh, so is something brewing? The cauldron seems quite hot to me, with him tagging along for a quest he didn't seem the least interested in?" Rose asks with a teasing smile on her face, nudging Hiya.

Hiya says, "We are just friends for now, but there may be something later on, if it isn't already brewing. I will let you know, if it happens. " Hiya blushes while also sighing and heads off towards her dorm in Gryffindor Tower.
Rose leaves Hiya alone and goes back to her dorm in Ravenclaw Tower.

On her way to her dorm, Rose meets Vicky, who was waiting for her and asks her where she went. Rose told him that she was with Hiya. Vicky says, "I just recieved an owl from Uncle and he says that he is going to visit Hogsmeade tomorrow. He asked me to bring you to the starting of the forbidden forest. First I'll go and meet him and then we will go to the forest together."

Rose says, "Ok, Vicky. But why this sudden meeting? Did something happen? It is not our parents death aniversary. It is on my birthday. Is there something that I am not supposed to know?"

Vicky says, "No, nothing like that. You'll know soon. Also, I want to meet my friend, who is the Courtyard. I'll be back soon. Don't worry about me and go to bed soon."

Rose does so and goes to sleep. The next day, all the friends except for Vicky, gather in the Library Corner to talk to Evony, to whom, Hiya sent an invitation through owl. Hiya asks Evony, "Hey, I know you are not comfortable with your past but we need your help with something. Would you be our parselmouth for opening the Chamber of Secrets?"

Evony replies, "Sure, but only once. Yes, I hate talking about my past but it is inevitable that I am a Slytherin and come from a pure-blood family."

"Thank you Evony, your gesture is much appreciated. I had barely hoped that you would agree, but here you are. Thankyou very much. Let's not dig into your past for now. But thankyou for joining us" , Hiya says. Evony nods and smiles at them.

There are Sol, Bea and Hiya at their usual library corner besides Rose and Evony.

"Rose, where's Vicky? ", Hiya asks.

"He is busy with something", Rose says.

"Ohh okay", Hiya says, "But we were going to open the chamber of secrets today. Are you sure Vicky doesn't want to come?"

"I think so", Rose says. "He said he had plans and seemed quite busy to me".

"I understand" , Hiya says. "So, friends, shall we leave for the Chamber of Secrets, then".

"Yes", Bea says, ready with her wand.

The rest of them follow, wands ready in their hands, Bea again in the lead and Evony right behind her with Rose and Hiya following behind them in tow with them. As they reach the Chamber of Secrets, Bea pushes it open and they hear a wail interspersed with sobs. As they look around , they suddenly see the ghost of Moaning Myrtle, and are startled, Hiya tripping backwards over Rose's foot at the sudden sight of the spectre, Rose grabbing Hiya's arm, Sol very calmly clasping Hiya's hand in his, Evony pulling out her wand as if she was going to light her wand and scare the ghost away, and Bea staring at the wall straight through the ghost until she decided to look into Moaning Myrtle's eyes worried that the ghost may feel offended.

"Ohh", "Have you all come to see me?" , Moaning Myrtle says in a quivering but shrill voice.

"We sure have", Bea says. Myrtle's ghost looks like she is going to break down into tears out of emotion, but Sol senses the heightening of the situation and immediately changes the topic, saying, "So what did you last see in the Black Lake, Myrtle?" .
"Ooooooh" , Myrtle's ghost replies, "Well, nothing much except the usual green grindylows and the merpeople, chatting and singing in Mermish. But I did see someone in this bathroom lately, someone who made this bathroom worth haunting by being the first person to turn up here ever since the Battle of Hogwarts."

"What?" Hiya exclaims.

"Do you mean us?" Rose asks.

"No, not you, but I quite like your good company. The person I am talking about is someone who came here a few days ago. It was a boy."

"Who?" , Bea asks.

"Well find out. Wheeeeee. And keep coming to see me for the answers", Moaning Myrtle says and pushes herself headfirst down a toilet.

"Ohh no", Bea says.

"Does that mean someone has already tried to enter the Chamber of Secrets?", Hiya asks.

"Hiya, calm down. We are yet to find out. The boy may also have been here for some other purpose, such as brewing a Forbidden Potion." Rose says.

"Or breeding frost salamanders, owing to the chill in here." Sol says.

Hiya looks at Sol with big eyes, clearly signalling to him non-verbally that this is not a good time to joke.

"What? The cold in here is only owing to the chill caused by Moaning Myrtle. I was only joking." Sol says.

"I am just too excited for the chamber. Sorry." Hiya says, sighing and calming herself down.

"I know you are excited, it's okay." Sol says placing both his hands on Hiya's shoulders from behind, "I was only trying to lighten your mood" .

"Okay guys", Rose says, "Let's go. Evony, let's start." .

"But where is the entrance?" Bea asks.

" I don't know. But, wherever it is, I should be able to open it." Evony says, and clears her throat.

"Ohh, that is alright. I am sure there is only one entrance here. " Bea says, as everyone looks at Evony in anticipation.

"Ss-ss-ssassassssss-ssa-a-ssa ss-ass-sss", Evony says, as they all hear a rumbling sound and stare with open eyes as the very ground begins to shake beneath them and the taps and pipelines rearrange themselves, slowly revealing a huge opening through one of the pipelines, about the size to allow an adult human to pass through.

"Wow", Rose says.

"What did you say, Evony?", Hiya asks.

"Well done, Evony, congratulations", Bea says.

"Good work", Evony, Sol says, and they hug her, tight.

"I said, 'Open up, please open up, for us'" , Evony says.

"Thank you Evony", all of them say. And then Bea requests Evony to stay with them for the rest of the quest since she helped them open the very chamber.

Evony agrees.

"You first this time", Bea calls out to the others behind her, "I have been in the lead for a long time now."

" I think Evony should go first" , Rose says, "Lest there's still a serpent in there that Evony can control with her parseltongue."

"Okay, but if there's a basilisk, not even Evony will have much control over the creature unless she has evil plans. Also, we must try and avoid looking into any basilisk's eyes by being very careful and watching only the ground close to our feet and the walls of the tunnel and never looking down and also by keeping our ears open."

"And we must follow close behind to be ready to help", Bea says.

Everyone agrees and Evony puts one foot down the entrance hole, wand in hand, and after first dislodging some stones and debris and making a huge sound, manages to clear the entrance for easy movement of her body, slides down very easily, then calls to the rest of them from below, saying, "Come down, guys, it's quite easy to get down here and there's nothing down here as of yet."

The rest of them follow one by one and reach a dark underground chamber only lighted by the light of Evony's wand. All of them light their wands and look around until Sol spots a door between two big grey pillars.

"There's a door right there", Sol says, pointing to it.

"But approach with caution", Evony warns.

"On the count of three", Bea says and pushes open the door.

At first scared that it may be a basilisk or something else that is very dangerous, that lives inside the doorway, the entire group ultimately calms down when they cannot hear or see anything and makes their way with silent footsteps through the door. After a few seconds of silently walking, they suddenly see a boy in the chamber, with his back towards them, doing something with his wand. His hair was dark black and he wore a long black cloak.

He was a Ravenclaw, but looked older than Rose. He was very cute and his chin had dimples. He was wandering in the Chamber of Secrets. Rose, her wand already at ready, asks him who he is.

He replies, "Hi! I am Sebastian Rosewood. I am a third-year Ravenclaw."

Rose asks hims, "What are you doing here? Also, how did you manage to open the chamber?

He replies, "I had a friend who helped me with that. I am just here to admire the beauty of the well-built chamber. So exquisite!"

Hiya asks, "We too, wanted to find and enter the chamber. It was like a quest for us since we are doing it together. Would you like to join us?"

He replies,"Sure, I would love to. I think I already know Vicky, your brother Rose."

Rose gets startled and asks, "Wait! How do you know him? And how do you know he is my brother?"

Sebastian replies, "Guys, this is kinda personal. I promised that I will only tell this to Rose."

Hearing this, Bea says, "Ok ok, we'll give you the required privacy. Come guys, let's look at this amazing chamber."

 Rose asks Sebastian, "Now tell me."

Sebastian says, "I am your cousin. I promised Vicky that I would tell this to only you. I can't break that promise. He asked me to meet in the Hogsmeade earlier this morning, and even our Uncle was there. He asked me to join both of them later near the Forbidden Forest."

Rose says, "Oh! He asked me to join as well. And are we really cousins?"

To that, he replies, "Not exactly, our parents knew each other so well and then we became family-friends."

Rose says, "Oh! That's good. So, I guess I'll see you after some time? Near the forbidden forest?"

Sebastian says, "Yeah sure."

Rose and Sebastian both leave to join the others in viewing the beauty of the exquisite chamber.

"Sebastian were you just roaming in the chamber?" Rose says to Sebastian suspiciously.

He replies, "Hey, trust me. I was not doing anything but strolling in the chamber."

Evony suddenly screams and they all look towards the sculpture of Salazar Slytherin. From inside, a group of people, wearing black and heads fully covered and guns in hand, emerge. The team of students gets frightened and they hold each others' hands. Hiya holds one hand of Rose and the other is held by Sebastian. Rose feels very safe. But at once realises that the forces were members of 'G', the same organisation which killed her family members. They had infiltrated Hogwarts somehow. Rose's theory was that they infiltrated through the Black Lake.

They all continuously cast the offensive version of Verdimillious Charm as well as the Knockback Jinx. They are able to hold them off for some time. They somehow manage to lock them up behind a door using "Colloportus" and all go out of the chamber and then hide behind some wall or the other. Rose and Sebastian were together.

Rose asks, "Tell the truth or you are losing all my trust."

Sebastian reveals, "I was supposed to be waiting for messages from Vicky and Timothy Uncle, who already had information that members of 'G' will be infiltrating Hogwarts today. They were going to come here and fight them off. But, you all too showed up."

Rose states, "Vicky already knew that we were going to open the chamber. He would surely warn us if something like this was about to happen."

To this, Sebastian replies, "He didn't know you were going to open it this quickly. He thought, you would wait till the curfew is up. But, you all came really quickly. Now, please leave."

Rose protests and says, "No, we will all fight against the members of 'G' and end them all. They are responsible for the death of my family members."

Hiya joins Rose and Sebastian and adds, "Yes, Rose is right. We will all join forces and win against the members of 'G'."

Just then, they hear a loud crash and Rose's Uncle, Uncle Timothy and Vicky barge into the second floor girl's bathroom and land one on top of the other due to the impact. The others welcome them.

"Sorry guys, we didn't know all of this would happen so soon" , Uncle Timothy tells the students. Vicky runs towards Rose and hugs her. Before they can exchange any more pleasantries, the members of 'G' manage to blast open the door behind which they were locked and come up from the chamber into the bathroom and the fight begins again.

"Oh no, we will have to push them back into the chamber and hold them there, otherwise they will get into the rest of Hogwarts and endanger all the students." , Evony says.

Uncle Timothy uses the Expulso curse to blast a big hole around the entrance of the chamber and they use the Knockback Jinx trying to send as many of them as they can back to the chamber. The students are still not experienced enough to be able to cast duelling spells, but they keep trying to cast Expelliarmus and they fight well enough. Bea uses the Bat-Bogey Hex to provide a good enough distraction for the others to fight, Sol uses the Tickling Hex and the Confundus Charm to stop the 'G' from being able to fight, Evony uses the Oppugno jinx to make birds fly towards the infiltrators and members of the 'G' , Rose uses the Knockback Jinx and the Stinging Jinx, Vicky and Sebastian use the Leg- Locker curse and the Full Body Bind curse, Hiya uses the Jelly Legs Jinx and the Avifors spell to make objects fly at them as she is good in Transfiguration, and they all use the Stunning spell Stupefy to stop as many members as they can and soon the members of the 'G' are cornered and driven back to the chamber. Once the members of the 'G' are back in the Chamber of Secrets, Uncle Timothy uses the Full Body Bind curse and Brachiabindo on all of them, keeping them safely in place, and then asks one of the students to go find Headmistress Oshiro. Hiya agrees to take up the job and runs as fast as she can to the Headmistress's office to inform her. However, she realises she doesn't know the password. As she is about to rush towards the Gryffindor Tower to wake her Head of House in Professor Draekon's office, she sees Sol walking towards her.

"I came here because the others are doing a great job at keeping the members of the 'G' at bay. I knew you may need help with the password. The password is 'Draco Dormiens'. ", Sol says.

"How do you know?", Hiya asks.

"I came here earlier. To do something.", Sol says. "To do what?", Hiya asks. " I will tell you later" , Sol replies.

Not having much time at hand, Hiya speaks the password to the gargoyle at the Headmistress's office and they enter, and find her bent over Dumbledore's pensieve. Hiya finds herself a bundle of nerves, unable to speak anything, but Sol covers up for her and says, " We had to find you, Headmistress. There was a battle going on in the Chamber of Secrets. But we have managed to bind the culprits and they are waiting for you now" .

"Don't tell me" , the Headmistress says, "How could it be, again?". She uses an alarm system to gather the teachers of Hogwarts and personally messages the Heads of Houses to stay on guard at the residences in Hogwarts of the students of their respective houses. They then head back to the chamber with Headmistress Oshiro where she meets Uncle Timothy and thanks him for being there with the students.

" They helped me." Uncle Timothy replies, blushing. "Good job students, well done. You fought well. Ten points to each Hogwarts house,any of the students of which are present here. Well done.", Headmistress Oshiro says nodding and clapping in appreciation. The members of 'G' are then safely taken back to the Wizengamot and Headmistress Oshiro orders strengthening of the protective charms at Hogwarts. As the members of the 'G' are taken away, a small green locket charm or a charm pendant on a silver necklace falls out of the robes of one of the members of 'G'. The green charm is a manx cat, Evony's patronus. Evony rushes towards the charm, immediately drawn to it, and feels it in her hands turning it over and over in her palm. She can feel something flowing through her as she touches it.

"It reminds me of a toy I used to play with in childhood. It is also my patronus." , she says. Headmistress Oshiro notices Evony and calls her to her office. "The rest of you please go back to your dorms, that is enough excitement for one night", the Headmistress says. Evony follows the Headmistress to her office.

Evony finds herself in the Headmistress's chamber, seated across the Headmistress, with the Headmistress looking at her with a deep, meaningful look.

She wore it around her in the necklace you are just holding. If you remember, you had a similar looking toy in your early childhood, which also belonged to your mother. She had a manx cat patronus, which is also your patronus now. She was a student at Hogwarts. You are a pureblood Slytherin, Evony, from the Senoj family. We had to tell you one day, but we couldn't tell you yet, as we thought you were still too young to know it and the trauma would be too great to process. Your parents were kidnapped by the members of the 'G' , the organization you fought today, owing to their wish of using people, to research on and compare the genes of pureblood wizards and mudbloods and halfbloods, and carry out gruesome experiments to find out if there is any difference in the potency of their magic.They have kidnapped a lot of people to perform their gruesome painful experiments on. Your father is a pureblood Slytherin wizard Edward Senoj, who was also a student at Hogwarts, and your mother was Valeria Senoj. We thought your parents had been murdered, but we soon found out that they were kidnapped by the 'G'. We had to find you a home, so we left you at the Muggle foster home for then. I believe your parents are still alive." , Headmistress Oshiro says.

Evony listens to all the information silently with a pained expression on her face and sorrowful eyes, then bursts into tears, but she soon composes herself and stands up saying, "Sorry Headmistress, but can I leave?". Headmistress Oshiro nods, understanding her emotions and allows her to leave, but adds as Evony quickly walks out the door almost running, "Remember, happiness can be found in the darkest of times, if only one remembers to turn on the light, as said by our late former headmaster, Albus Dumbledore."

On hearing this, Evony turns back for awhile, nods at her headmistress, then flees towards her dorm, her face buried in her hands.

Back in the chamber, the students disperse towards their own towers. Or do they? It appears that most of them disregard the Headmistress's orders. Rose ends up with Vicky, Sebastian and Uncle Timothy elsewhere, secretly discussing the more sinister secrets of the 'G' , and Sol and Hiya are simply strolling at the top of the Astronomy Tower at Hogwarts with Hiya's Marauder's Map active to warn them of anyone around to see them, talking.

"Sol, when were you going to tell me that you went to the Headmistress's office earlier?" , Hiya asks, a bit stern, a little annoyed and slightly angry.

"Ohh, don't worry. It was nothing, only something about my academics at Hogwarts. So, I have two cousins, both female, both graduated from Hogwarts.", Sol replies.

"Sol, stop trying to deviate from the topic", Hiya says with a sigh, "Tell me what's going on.".

"Alright. Chill. I was only trying to not create much pressure in your mind. I know you have a thirst for adventure, but this is just something you did not need to know. My neighbor's daughter, Sirene Primora Perdita, who lived beside me was lost before she came to Hogwarts. She was kidnapped by the members of 'G'. I was forced to come to Hogwarts alone, otherwise I would have come with her. She was like a sister to me. One night she just disappeared from her bed in her house in her sleep. It was speculated that she may have been carried away by the 'G'. Headmistress Oshiro asked me about some details of my neighbor's daughter, which is why I was at her office earlier." ,Sol says.

"Ohh, I am so sorry, Sol. I didn't know you were involved in so much. Are you an only child?", Hiya asks.

"Yes, I am.", Sol replies," My parents almost didn't allow me to come to Hogwarts because of Sirene being lost, because they thought I could get lost from Hogwarts too. But I had to convince them of the safety precautions at Hogwarts so that I could come here. I wanted my education so bad.".

" I understand" , Hiya says."So, who are the 'G'?".
"Well, I bet your friend Rose knows. She always seems fishy whenever anyone talks about the 'G'.", Sol says.

"I never meant to get into this turmoil. I never knew there was so much to uncover in the Chamber of Secrets. I only thought I was going to open an ancient chamber and enjoy and have fun. I did not know it would be such a big mess with the members of the 'G' infiltrating in there. Ohh dear, what have I done? I put everyone in danger by just suggesting this quest. I wonder if Rose already knew something about the 'G' earlier, but she didn't seem as excited as Bea when I first talked about the chamber.", Hiya says, with a sigh.

"You need to relax", Sol says, " I am sure Rose did not know anything about the 'G' being related to the chamber then, but knows now. She may have known about the 'G' but not about how and when they were going to enter and definitely did not know about them entering through the chamber, otherwise she would have warned us. You have done nothing. The members of the 'G' already existed at large, and would have infiltrated the castle whether or not you planned to open the chamber. Rather, you may have saved a few lives by opening the chamber and having us present there to fight them and stop them before they could get into the Hogwarts castle. And you can get the turmoil out of your head because it is over. We will think about how to finally defeat the 'G' later. All I know for now is that I feel calm when I am beside you", Sol says.

"Me too", Hiya says and finds herself falling into Sol's arms, resting her head on him and closing her eyes, hugging him tight.

Sol does the same, hugging her back. Hiya feels a serene calm uplifting her mood, and as she looks up at Sol to somehow try and find out if he is the reason for it, their eyes lock and they stare at each other in complete bliss for an eternity under the moonlight, until Sol bends over to touch his lips to hers. Hiya gives in and they kiss passionately, and as Hiya looks up during the kiss at the sky, she sees a wreath of mistletoe hanging over them, that she knew was magically charmed to float in mid-air, just like the innumerable similar ones placed everywhere for the Christmas decorations in the Hogwarts castle.

As soon as they finish their kissing, a snowy owl flies to them and drops a letter in Hiya's laps. It was from Rose. It stated:

"Hey Hiya, I am going to the Forbidden Forest along with Uncle Timothy, Vicky and Sebastian. I am going to ask them, what do they know about 'G' and are not tellig me. I am so sorry for everything that happened. This all wouldn't have happened if I had warned you about the chamber. I genuinely ddidn't about the members of 'G' infiltrating Hogwarts. They were supposed to work from London, but they reached Hogwarts. I am so sorry for everything. After I come back, I will update you about everthing.

With love,

Rose."

Hiya feels a great burden off her shoulders and feels happy now. 

Hiya immediately uses Accio to summon parchment and quill and an inkpot then writes, "It's okay Rose, Sol says we just saved lives by opening the chamber before the infiltration, otherwise the 'G' would have got into the other parts of the Hogwarts castle and caused harm to many other students like us. We did a great job fighting there. Enough of each one of us feeling guilty and let's congratulate ourselves instead of feeling bad. I am proud of you and of everyone else for how we fought, Rose. We fought valiantly. I can feel that there is a lot of danger and struggle coming up, but it feels good to know that we are in this together. Though I know you are completely safe with Uncle Timothy, Vicky and Sebastian, I would still ask out of friendly concern to return to the Hogwarts castle only with Vicky or Sebastian and not alone. Though I want to know more and won't be able to sleep, I think we are all tired after the fight and should rest for today in our respective dorms. Since the school is closed for Christmas vacations and we have no classes, you can meet me tomorrow near the greenhouses, which will be almost devoid of students, with Vicky and Sebastian. We will also call Sol, Bea and Evony via owl as they must know who the 'G' are and will be curious anyway. And then we can join forces and will discuss our further plans because it seems like the 'G' are not an organization to be defeated singlehandedly. We will need manpower to fight them. Also, I have some news about Sol to tell you, though amidst all this turmoil, I can't relax myself enough to tell you properly, but I will tell you about it tomorrow. Stay safe, return safely from the Forbidden Forest, take care and good night." . She then sends the parchment with her writing via Rose's own snowy owl to Rose. She then sighs heavily as Sol hugs her one last time and then they head back towards their dormitories to sleep.

Rose reads the letter and feels happy. She was with Vicky, Uncle Timothy and Sebastian. She asks Timothy, "Uncle, who are 'G' exactly? Why are they after us and specifically we Petersons? What do they want from us?"

Timothy answers all the queries that Rose has, "'G' are a powerful organisation who were responsible for killing of many wizarding families like ours. They were one of the sole supporters of You-Know-Who. They even participated in the Wizarding Wars. All they wanted was to destroy hope and humanity from the world. They carried out gruesome experiments on people by feeding them harmful potions, which caused their deaths. They even used the blood of the people they kidnapped to compare the genes between pure-bloods and half-bloods and muggle-borns and tried to use their findings to see which bloodline would be the most susceptible to dementors. Sources say that they are trying to create more dementors of their own and are also trying to create inherently evil dark wizards and dark witches who will be born as dark wizards and dark witches, from their very birth, by using recombinant genes made from different wizards and witches and different dark creatures. They are specifically after the PETERSONS because we are one of the most well-known pureblood wizarding families in the world, with members who have never turned to the Dark Arts. We have always been known for doing good in the world. They wanted to know if there was something specific in our genetic make-up that made our family always want to stay away from the Dark Arts. That is the sole reason why they kidnapped your parents, extracted their genes, performed various gruesome experiments on them, and then killed them out of spite because they couldn't turn them dark no matter how hard they tried, even after using torture. Your parents have even been known to resist the Imperius Curse, which is another reason why they killed your parents out of spite. I am sorry to tell you all of this, Rose, I know it hurts to hear such gruesome things at a very tender age, but you needed to know. The wizarding world is in great danger, with the 'G' operating at the level they are now. Many wizarding families of different bloodlines were captured and tortured. The children and adults of many pureblood wizarding families and also many half-bloods and muggle-borns were carried away and experimented upon. Your friend Evony's real family was kidnapped too, only because they were a pureblood Slytherin family, the Senoj family. Luckily, Evony, when she was born was still at the St. Mungo's hospital due to a respiratory complication, and though her mother was kidnapped from the maternity ward at the hospital itself, Evony herself was never found by the 'G' because of timely intervention by the Aurors at the hospital and Evony being separately placed in an incubator with attached breathing charms . Headmistress Oshiro on learning about the attack at the St. Mungo's hospital housed Evony in a Muggle foster home and all Evony ever knew since her childhood was that she was abandoned at the hospital and orphaned by her parents. Evony probably thinks the same about her parents now. Rose, there is a secret I have been keeping from you. I am an Auror working for the Ministry of Magic and Headmistress Oshiro knows me very well. She was the one who told me about Evony and her future. She also told me the names of the other students or their families who were kidnapped. Bea Loralles's younger sister was kidnapped too. Bea never knew she had a sister because her sister was concieved when she was at Hogwarts, and stolen right from the St. Mungo's hospital. Her mother never told Bea earlier because she wanted to give a surprise to her daughter, but Bea never got the surprise because her poor sister was stolen, before her mother could tell Bea the surprise. Bea's parents have been upset ever since. The Loralles family are a mixed-blood family. Another girl kidnapped was a Greek girl called Sirene, Sirene Primora Perdita. She was kidnapped from her house in a fairly remote wizarding village that houses many talented families with witches and wizards, in the middle of the night from her own bed, in front of her parents. I would say your friend Hiya is in danger too, because though she is a Muggle-born witch and her parents being Muggles were left untouched by the 'G' as they did not yet find a way to breach the International Statute of Wizarding Secrecy by going behind the back of the Ministry of Magic, Hiya is still a witch, and maybe in danger, because they are experimenting on every different type of bloodlines. I am sorry, Rose, for not telling this before. You were not supposed to know all this. I was only told to protect you and be your guardian, by your parents. I was only trying to do that by keeping you away from all this, but I realised you should know because it is getting very dark and it's all a mess, and you could be in danger if you don't know. I am sorry I couldn't save your parents. It's all my fault. I should have been there on time, the evening your parents were kidnapped. I just got a few minutes late due to some important meetings in the Ministry of Magic. By the time I reached, the 'G' had done their job and left. Poor you. I am sorry, Rose. But I am still here and will always be beside you, forever."

Hearing this, Rose starts crying. She falls into the arms of Uncle Timothy and hugs him tightly and begins to cry a lot of big and huge tears. All the others try to console her. Sebastian wipes tears off her cheek. Seeing this, Timothy says, "It seems that you have met Sebastian, your cousin. He is you aunt, Lily's son. He is a Rosewood."

Rose says, "Yeah, I met him just today. After hearing about 'G', I decided that we need to end 'G'. we need to brainstorm ideas to lure members of 'G' out of their hiding."

Vicky says, "You're right, Rose. We need to end them for once and all. I know that you and your friends are ever ready to help, but this time, leave it to us."

Enraged, Rose says, "No way, Vicky. I and all my friends will join you all to defeat 'G'. It is not a request."

Vicky, defeated, says, "Ok, fine, dear. You all may join us."

Sebastian was listening very intently without saying anything. Rose notices him and asks him, "Hey, why are you so quiet?"

Sebastian smiles and replies, "I am just listening. I am a good listener."

Rose says, "Oh, that's a very good quality. Very helpful."

They both laugh, but are interrupted by Vicky, who says, "Hey, Rose. Gather all your friends and meet me here, tomorrow. Use your Marauder's maps to ensure no one follows you here."

Rose agrees and starts walking away. Sebastian follows her and decides to accompany her.

Rose goes to her dorm and sends owls to Bea, Evony, Hiya and Sol, writing to them telling them "There are dark and sinister forces afoot. We need to join forces and fight them. Get ready friends, we need to meet tomorrow. Please meet me in front of the greenhouses tomorrow. Vicky and I will be present there waiting for you and we will hold a secret meeting there tomorrow."

At the greenhouses the next day, Vicky, Sebastian and Rose are bent over Rose's rose plant and Vicky suddenly pops a fact that blows Rose's mind away. He says, "Rose, I do not know how Uncle Timothy will react to me having said this to you, but did you know that they are specifically after you, because your name is Rose, and your parents named you as such because you were like their ray of hope."

"What? Who? The 'G'? Are they specifically after me for that reason?", Rose asks.

"Yes" , Vicky replies. Rose is flabbergasted. She says "Tell me more about that later."

Soon, their friends start traipsing in and they have to stop the conversation. Therefore, Rose says, "Later, remember?" .

"Yes, I will" , Vicky says.

Sebastian smiles at Rose.

Bea, Evony, Hiya and Sol traipse into the greenhouse and they form a circle around Rose's greenhouse plot. "My favorite non-magical flower, rose" , Hiya mumbles, taking in the beautiful scent of the beautiful single red rose on Rose's rose plant in the greenhouse. "Mine too" , Sol says, drawing Hiya out of her soliloquy.

Rose says, "Hey, friends. We are here to discuss something important" .

Between Rose, Sebastian and Vicky, they bit by bit relate everything they know about the 'G' to Bea, Evony, Hiya and Sol, and how the families of each one of them had been affected by the 'G' . The entire group becomes emotional. Evony says, "I already knew a bit of it from Headmistress Oshiro. But I didn't know about the hospital part. Thankyou, Rose."

Bea says " I would never have known my younger sister's existence without you. Thankyou, Rose."
Sol nods silently.

Hiya says, "Rose, you have been through a lot. You should rest."

Rose says, "No, on the contrary, I want to fight the 'G' like right now. But I did reveal a couple of things that may have heightened Bea, Evony and Sol's emotions. I understand. Guys, please rest."

Evony replies, "I want to fight them too, no matter how emotional I feel. I want to get to the bottom of of it all and find the 'G'."

Bea replies, "I too want to fight them for my younger sister and my parents who lost her. I don't want to sit and wallow like a kid".

Sol says, "I want to find Sirene too. She was too dear to me."

Hiya says, "And I want to come help my friends."

Sol begins, "But", but Hiya stops him, by clasping his hand tight. She says, "But I know I do not have personal reasons to fight this, but I have a duty towards my friends. And who knows, they may start experimenting on muggles one day. I am a muggle-born witch, but other muggles, if not my parents may be in danger in the future, if we don't stop the 'G'. But" , Sol continues, insisting, "Hiya, you didn't have to join. I only want to go see Sirene".

"Don't join and do what? Sew robes at Hogwarts? No. I am coming. Don't worry about me like a puppy. I am not staying out of the action" , Hiya says.

"Fine" , Sol says and clasps Hiya's hand tighter.
"But what's the plan?" , Bea asks.

"The plan is to now sit and plan" , Hiya says, as Sol looks at her admiringly, and says "You never run out of ideas".

"So what do we do?" , Vicky asks.

"We find their hideout" , Hiya says.

"That is the first thing to do. But we must also practise some good duelling stances and skills and gather some help because we are taking on such a big organization" , she adds.

"Alright, how do we find the hideout?" , Bea asks.

"Uncle Timothy may know something" , Rose says.

"Uncle Timothy doesn't. Or the Aurors would have already tried. They are in some secret highly protected hiding place." , Vicky suggests.
"How about luring them in here? Back to the Chamber of Secrets? With their gang leader, this time?", Sol says, "After all, that's where it all started."

Evony says " Without endangering the others at Hogwarts though."

Hiya says, "We will have to lure them in using Evony's manx cat charm silver pendant necklace."

"Sorry Evony" , Hiya adds, "I know that's dear to you. But that's the best way I could think of. Sorry," as Evony's face falls.

"No Hiya, you are right. That's the best way to lure them in here. I am sure it has some significance or why would one of them be carrying it in their robes?" , Evony says.

"Exactly" , Hiya says. "You are right. That is exactly what I was thinking."

Everyone looks at Hiya and Evony and wonders what they are upto.

Evony adds "Are you thinking what I am thinking, Hiya?"

Hiya nods. Evony takes her necklace out, and traces her fingers lightly and lovingly around the manx cat charm.

She pulls out her wand as Hiya holds it for her and casts "Specialis Revelio."

A gentle amber glow appears behind the charm. And the rune Wunjo is seen inscribed on it. The glow vanishes after some time. Hiya says, "That makes sense. This is a strong charm. This is a patronus inscribed with 'Wunjo'. I am sure this is not ordinary".

Evony says, "I used to have a similar toy. I know. I will read my grandmother's diary. It was given to me by Headmistress Oshiro when I started Hogwarts. I was told to read it when the time comes. I believe this is what she meant. The time has come."

"I say we allow Evony privacy" , Rose says.

"In the library at six" , Evony says.

They meet at the library at six and Evony arrives five minutes late. She assures them everything is okay and begins. The toy was a family heirloom. "My grandmother's diary says that my family on my mother's side has a long line of generations with the same patronuses, one after the other. All of them had manx cat patronuses. When a family member, specifically a daughter from the same family line, wears the necklace, it gives them strength and agility like a manx cat. My necklace perhaps fell into the hands of the 'G' when my mother tried to escape from them or fight them. They will come back for the necklace" , Evony says.

Hiya says, "But we will have to take the necklace down to the chamber. We don't want them attacking the school".

Evony says, " Wait. I am not done. On stroking the charm on the necklace 3 times, it is supposed to signal distress to the family members of the same family line if they are alive, and a yellow-green light is supposed to appear in their eyes. It means if I stroke my necklace, a yellow-green light will appear in my mother's eyes and she will know I am in distress. While she won't be able to come, if a member of the 'G' notices the light in her eyes, they may be lured to come get the necklace, as I am sure they know or may guess about the necklace's powers. Then we may capture one of them and tie him up in the Chamber and interrogate him to find the location of the gang leader."

They all stare at Evony in admiration and clap. They decide on the midnight of the weekend to put their plan in action. They practise duelling and gather a few students to fight with them, throughout the week. At the end of the week, they head down to the Chamber of Secrets at midnight with their Marauder's maps and with the students theyhad gathered. They take a deep breath.

"Ready?", Evony whispers. She strokes her charm thrice.

At the G's hidehole-
"Mmmm mmmmmmm mmmm" , Evony's mother screams, gagged. She creates such a ruckus that one of the 'G' ungags her. "My daughter, my daughter" , Evony's mother says, then quiets down realising her mistake. She thinks she has put her daughter in danger, as her eyes begin to gleam greenish-yellow.

"The woman is hallucinating", the 'G' guard says. " Inject her with a Sleeping Draught and quiet her" , another guard says.

"But this greenish yellow light in her eyes, its abnormal" , the 'G' guard says. "Let's ask our ringleader".

The ringleader, a grumpy man of forty, analysing the situation, says, "We should get back the pendant. It is a signal that the child needs her mother. Even though it is against our laws, we can modify our laws for our own members. It means a lot to one of our members. If something like that happens to me, wouldn't you all try to find it? Let's go and bring it along with the child, back."

They all pack their stuff and make their way towards the Black Lake.

Back at Hogwarts' Chamber of Secrets:

Rose, Vicky, Sebastian, Hiya, Sol, Evony and Bea are eagerly waiting for the attack to happen.

Hiya, out of curiosity asks, "Did they close the entry?"

Rose says, "No, Hiya. If they closed it, where would Myrtle be?"

The absence of Myrtle was a proof that the entry was not blocked. Minutes later, the members of 'G' come, their wands at ready.

The ringleader, with a grumpy voice, says, "Hand us the manx cat charm. It is very much needed."

Evony says, "No, what do you want with it? It definitely has some connection with me."

The ringleader, trying to be good, "Dear, is it you, who triggered the charm?"

Evony nods and he says, "Well done. It is your mother's. She needs it back and you, too, need to come with us."

Evony protests, and says, "What, my mother is the one who was wearing the pendant? Meaning, this pendant belongs to my mother?"

The ringleader nods and commands one of the member to bring Evony's mom. Evony's mother was unconscious. Seeing her, Evony runs towards her and hugs her. Het touch seems to be magical and walks her mother her. She says, "Evony, is that you. How big have you grown? It is wonderful to see you again. Are you okay?"

She says, "Mom, I am fine. Here is your manx cat pendant. I found it, when you last came."

They both hug each other and the ringleader says, "Lovely, isn't it? Time to go girl. Come along with your mother."

Evony protests, and says, "I can't come with her. Let her go with me. Please."

All the kindness of the ringleader turns dark and he says, "All she wanted was to be with you. I defied the laws of my organisation. How dare you defy my orders."

The heated argument turns into a battle. Spells are exchanged. Rose attacks with Flipendo, Vicky with stupefy, Evony with Reducto, Sebastian with Expulso, Hiya with Petrificus Totalus, Bea with Avifors and Sol with Expelliarmus. The members of 'G', too, use powerful spells, but are rendered useless by the protective charm cast by Vicky. After an heated battle, Rose decides to send an owl to Timothy. She sends Bea, to write an owl to uncle Timothy and to ask him to come there.

Bea vanishes and the group continue the battle. Minutes later, Timothy, along with Ministry Officials, barges right into the chamber. All the members of the not-so-secret organisation were captured. Evony's mother, being innocent from the start, was cleared of charges against her. Eventually, Evony and her mother found each other again. 

The Ministry Officials catch the ringleader and put a drop of Veritaserum in his mouth. Some time later, he is asked, "Where are the girls, Sarah and Sirene?"

The ringleader reveals, "They are at our hideout. It is present in the Knockturn Alley. The last shop from the left.

The Ministry Officials take them away and apparate to Knockturn Alley. Moments later, they bring Sarah and Sirene with them. Bea hugs Sarah and Sol hugs Sirene. Later, Hiya is asked to join Sol and Sirene for a group hug. Everything of this was overwhelming for Rose. She bursts into tears and Sebastian, noticing this, hugs her and says, "Hey, Rose. What happened?"

Rose answers, "Nothing, all of this is too overwhelming for me."

Sebastian smiles and brings her to Vicky. Seeing Rose's face, Vicky wipes away her  tears and asks her, "Hey, Rose. Nothing happened. We all are alright. Everyone is happy."

Rose remembering Vicky's promise, asks him, "You were going to tell me something?"

Vicky remembers and says, "Right. They were after you because both our parents were kidnapped and tested for a variation of the gene for resilience against dark magic. Since, you are their offspring, they wanted to test your genes. That's why. They were after you."

Hearing this, Rose again starts crying and Sebastian hugs her tightly and tells her, "Hey, Rose. No matter how many people will be after you, I will always be there to protect you. You are my heart. You are my soul. You are everything to me."

Hearing this, Rose really feels overwhelmed and kisses Sebastian on his cheek.

Rose and Hiya meet each other and exchange views about the incident. Hiya says, "Finally, we defeated 'G'. Also, reunited Evony with her mother, Sarah with Bea and Sirene with Sol. I am feeling so happy."

Rose says, "Yeah, me, too. You know what, I have a crush on Sebastian and he confessed his love to me. I am over the clouds."

Hiya jumps with joy and says, "Wow, Rose. Even, I have something to tell you. Me and Sol.... are finally together."

Rose hugs Hiya and congratulates her. They both make their way towards Evony and Rose says, "Hey, Evony. The quest is finally complete. You are reunited with your long lost family. We both are happy for you."

Evony says, "Thank you, Rose and Hiya. This reunion happened because of you both. You both decided to go on this quest to find the Chamber of Secrets. This chamber is really full of secrets. Thanks a lot."

This officialy marked the end of the quest, but, the quest within, still continues.
