Gellert Grindelwald

Chapter 2

Gellert Grindel was the father of a man with ice white hair and faraway brown and white eyes. He was born in the summer of 1882-1883. Gellert Grindelwald (c. 1882/1883 - March 1998) was a dark wizard who was considered one of the most powerful and infamous wizards of all time, surpassed only by Albus Dumbledore and Lord Voldemort. A student at Durmstrang Institute, Grindelwald was expelled for complex and dark experiments and near-fatal attacks on students.


 


 After leaving Durmstrang, she develops a romantic relationship with young Albus Dumbledore and plans to find the Deathly Hallows and lead a wizarding revolution to end the International Statute of Secrecy and create a new wizard-led order that will dominate the Muggles. Did . At seventeen, their partnership broke up after the two fought a three-way duel with Dumbledore's brother, Aberforth, which resulted in the death of Dumbledore's sister, Ariana. Grindelwald left Britain and later stole the Elder Wand from Mykew Gregorovitch and went alone with the revolution he and Dumbledore had planned.


 


 Grindelwald was a complex character, very idealistic and talented, who tried to achieve his goals at any cost. A revolutionary who operated outside the law, he and his followers committed numerous crimes, including several murders. Acting violently in the United States and Europe, Grindelwald eventually established a power base at Nuremberg Castle in Austria. In 1945, at the height of Grindelwald's power, Dumbledore faced him in a legendary duel and defeated him. He was subsequently imprisoned in his castle for decades and eventually murdered there by Lord Voldemort in 1998 when he refused to give up the location of the Elder Wand.
