Lily Dumbledore
This is my story as a girl who had a lot to live up to, my uncle being the famous Albus Dumbledore. Written by me and my best friend Davis (who isn't supposed to be writing in it but sometimes I allow him to take over a few chapters in which case it will be clear that he's the narrator.)

Chapter 3
Now, I had seen Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the distance before, but nothing would ever get this image out of my head. The image of a majestic castle rising up from the lake, it's thousands of lights within lit. Our boats crossed the lake silently, gliding across the water until we reached the shore. In front of us stood a great double- oaked door wich swung open to reveal a tall women with a pointed hat and long black robes. I guessed that she would be Professor Mcgonagall, the transfiguration teacher that had replaced Uncle Albus just a few years ago when he became headmaster.
We followed Professor Mcgonagall in and she led us up a big marble staircase towards another pair of great oak doors. The doors opened to reveal the Great Hall. In there were four long wooden tables with benches and on them were sitting hundreds of young witches and wizards, all with pointed hats and black robes. And don't get me started on the ceiling. If you want a description of it, look in Harry Potter book 1.
We walked towards the big table at the front of the end of the Hall where the Professors were. Then, Professor Mcgonagall took out a long scroll and started calling the names of the first years:
"Jessica Albatross!"
A young witch stepped forward and took her place on the three legged stool. Professor Mcgonagall placed the Sorting Hat on her head and took a step back. After a moment the Sorting Hat announced: "Hufflepuff!"
And on it went. By now my stomach was rumbling begging for some food.
"Erin Crow!"
"Slytherin!"
"Lily Dumbledore!"
I gulped as all eyes turned on me. I took a step forward. Then another. Finally I reached the stool and sat on it. The Sorting Hat was placed on my head and the Hall grew quiet.
Hmmm. Interesting. Very interesting. A Dumbledore. An honorable family, that's for sure. You're smart yet plenty of courage. You would make a perfect Ravendor. But where to put you?
I held my breath as the voice silenced.
"Ravenclaw!" I jumped as the voice suddenly bellowed the word to the Hall. A thunder of clapping came from the table second from the left. I headed towards that table and sat down with relief next to a boy my age.
"Davis Crane", he introduced himself.
"Lily Dumbledore."
"You mean you're Professor Dumbledore's daughter?"
"No", I laughed. "He's my uncle. I'm his brother's daughter. My father is Aberforth Dumbledore."
"Oh", he replied.
We instantly clicked. And I was the happiest I had ever been. I had made my first real friend.
