Writer'S Advice And Book Reviews
Chapter 18
-Writer's Advice and Book Reviews-
WRITER'S ADVICE:
Combine the Key Elements
(Lilia Le Fay - theme courtesy of Helen Graywood)
Writing, as every writer knows or will soon find out, isn’t just about jumbling together a few creative words and seeing what comes out to satisfy your enjoyment of the occupation. Writing contains and requires so many key elements; planning, good characters, etc. But the main two are narrowed down to this is a simple phrase; ‘Good Writing and a Good Story make for an excellent book.’
And before any of you turn away and think this is a crude opinion, look at it again. Regard all the elements that make good writing; pace, descriptions, temptation, etc. Then think of the factors that make up a good story; planning, character relationships, climaxes, etc.
The key to becoming a good writer and writing a good book is to improve your skills in those areas and develop them. Sure, if you just want a bit of fun, go ahead and write your fan fiction. But if you want it to be good, at least look at some of those elements.
Thanks for reading! Regard this with care and remember to turn back here next issue for more literacy advice!
Also: Poke a bear with a stick and he will give you a good plot.

While the chapters written so far may be short, this book gets straight to the point. Loaded with information, my Ravenclaw mind couldn’t help enjoying it. It definitely answered some of my questions about Hogwarts. I recommend this book for people who want to a quick version of Hogwarts; A History. ★★★

I got this book from my family for Christmas and just now got around to reading it. Though sometimes confusing, it sparked my interest in the Zodiac, something I have never been interested in before. I recommend this book for people with an interest in the Zodiac and want to know more of how people’s personalities differ. There is a second book called Wandering Star. ★★★½
