Bombarda (explosive spell)

 Pronounced: bom-BAR-dah


 Description: Causes a small explosion.


 Seen / Mentioned: Teaching in fourth year Charms class.


 Etymology: From the word bombard, it means continuous attack on a place or person with bombs or other missiles.

 Pronounced: BOM-bar-dah MAX-ih-mah


 Description: Creates a large explosion that can destroy all walls. A more advanced and powerful form of Exploding Charm.


 Bracium Amendo


 Type: Charm, Healing Charm


 Pronounced: BRA-key-um ee-MEN-doh


 Description: When used correctly, this spell is claimed to heal broken bones. This theory is supported by etymology.


 Seen/Mentioned: Used unsuccessfully in 1992 by Gilderoy Lockhart in Harry Potter after Bludger broke the second hand. It removed all the bones and made it look like rubber.


 Etymology: The word Brackium is probably derived from the Latin "Bracchium" meaning "forearm" or just "arm" and Emendo from the Latin word of the same spelling meaning "I correct" or "I improve", complete. It means "I fix / improve the forearm".

 Description: Increases a teammate's bravery and increases their performance against certain enemies.


 Seen/Mentioned: Taught by Auror Head Harry Potter to members of the Secrecy Task Force to help them deal with the aftermath of the 2010s disaster.
