The feast had finally finished, all the food was eaten, and the House Leaders led the students to the dormitories. McGonagall seemed to be pretty scary, but once she left after she thought everyone was asleep, the whole boys dormitory went into the common room with a small group of the girls and had a huge party. Lily Evans was sitting reading a book, looking annoyed, Sirius saw his friend looking at her and, encouragingly said, "Mate, ask her to dance with ya!" James refused, but he finally said yes after a few minutes.

He walked over, and Lily saw him, but pretended not to. James was as red as a tomato by the time he reached there. The rest of the group were watching in silence, placing bets on what would happen. So far, Remus was winning.

"Umm..... hey, Evans, is that your name?" whispered a shy James, as he fiddled with his food. "Um, yeah. What do you need?" she replied.
