It's a sunny day at the Potters house, everyone was rushing at one end to the other, as it was James Potter's first day at Hogwarts!

"Did you get your spell books, James?" asked Mrs Potter. "Yes muuummmmmm I've got everything don't worry!" groaned an impatient James Potter. James was a particularly sassy child, and everyone was used to it by now.

Mrs Potter bid them goodbye as Mr Potter held James' hand and prepared him to apparate. Mrs Potter had a slightly anxious face on, as she knew that Hogwarts would either be the making of her precious son, or the breaking of him. "Ohhh I hope he'll be alright..." the woman mumbled, still wearing the anxious face.

James had apparated to Kings Cross already, but it was in a bathroom stall. A really squishy one at that. His father bid him goodbye and apparated off warning him, "DON'T MAKE TOO MANY ENEMIES JAMES, IT'LL ONLY LEAD TO BAD!" James decided to quickly run off with his owl and trolley in hand. He stopped. He knew everyone runs, but he never knew what happened if you walk.

So he slowly moved his feet, with a scraping noise coming from the ground. As he walked through the wall, he felt his molecules moving and, as he finally reached the outside, thought, Will I make friends? Will they be good friends or ones who's leave me to die? What shall I do???

James had never felt so anxious before, so he felt weird. Especially weird as he saw an extremely pale boy with long, scruffy black hair run up to him. He wondered, Who is that boy?
