Lavender Boy - A Drarry Book

Draco has always been a very effeminate boy, so much so that he's teased relentlessly for it. All the other children seem to fit the mold so well... That is, until on his first day at Hogwarts, he meets the most beautiful boy - but he's not like Draco... right? (!!TW: Mention of a slur, mild-to-moderate swearing!!) (cover credits to Midgart)

“Draco Lucius Malfoy!” Narcissa Malfoy thundered.

Uh oh…

Draco had surely left the faucet on while washing his hands again - or perhaps he had forgotten to tidy his room before leaving? Maybe-

“Darling…” Scolded Narcissa, more gently this time, bending down to brush a smudge of dirt from his cheek.

The lanky, blonde-haired boy stared up at his Mother, her mallen-streak of white hair pulled into an elegant low ponytail resting over her darker locks, and wondered what he’d done now.

“Draco, dear, I just bought this blouse for you.” His Mother held up a beautiful salmon-pink garment that fluttered in the wind drifting through the courtyard, seemingly holding back a smile.

“Ah.” Draco had soiled his newest silk shirt - his favourite - baking a lemon-meringue pie. The butter must’ve gotten on it…

Draco smiled apologetically.

“So sorry, Mother. I must’ve lost track of my ingredients and bumped into the butter dish. I’ll clean it, if you’d like-”

Narcissa shook her head, a bemused sigh escaping her red lips.

“Worry not, Draco… I’m already working on laundry."

Draco tilted his head, smiling. His Mother was always busy these days, and it seemed to be good for her. She used to seem wistful, bored - but she appeared much livelier now.

“...Well…”

Draco’s Mother sighed again, smiling wider.

“...You’ve got to head out, I know.” Draco nodded at Narcissa, eager to get back to his project in the woods - a lovely collection of Fae homes for the local spirits - as soon as he could. His Mother ushered him to the gates.

“Hurry along, then. Your Father will be home soon and then it’ll be dinner.”

Draco beamed at his Mother, swinging open the heavy gate and beginning his trek through the woods.
