Bailey the little first year is the best student in her dorm room, the best student in her house, the best student in her classes, and quite possibly the best student in the whole first year. However little Bailey has a secret that no one must know. Little know-it-all Bailey isn't interested in the first year classes, they're too easy and boring for her. So little Bailey sneaks onto the grounds during every opportunity she gets, sometimes feigning sickness, just to creep up to Greenhouse 3 and watch the 3rd years laugh and have fun as 3rd year Herbology commences.

The First Lesson
Chapter 1
Little Bailey the know-it-all first year has a big secret. During her first week of school she was strolling along the grounds, when she noticed a huge complex with the sound of voices drifting along the hills. She went over to investigate, and discovered she was eavesdropping on a Herbology class, third year by the sound of it. She was immediately captivated, even though it sounded as mostly a review of rules and safety measures. As the teacher rolled off the syllabus, little Bailey found herself getting excited. There was so much potential in this class, already she was mesmerized by the information from Herbal medicines. Who knew plants could do such amazing things to heal someone? As the professor rattled off items toward the end of the lesson Bailey took note of each and every one of them. The professor also told the class they would be meeting at the same time every Monday and Wednesday. Bailey crouched in the greenery surrounding the greenhouse as a group of third years flocked to the exit, and Bailey promised herself she would do whatever it took to drop in on every lesson forthwith.
