First Charms Assignment

Chapter 1

So this first assignment reminds me a bit more of "History Of Magic", but in this chapter I will give you all the answers you need to know to complete this assignment.

What Is The Decree For The Reasonable Restriction Of Underage Sorcery?

The Decree For The Reasonable Restriction Of Underage Sorcery is a bylaw of the Ministry of Magic, written in 1875, which bans the use of underage magic outside of school. The Decree is enforced by the Improper Use Of Magic Office in the Ministry of Magic. The restriction is for wizards and witches who are under the age of 17, upon which The Trace still operates. Even so, the Ministry does recognize that they may have to use magic in certain situations such as self-defense in a life-threatening situation. In addition, young children of below school age, or children who are not in possession of a wand, are mostly exempt from the rule since they usually have little or no control over the magic they perform.

The Accidental Magic Reversal Squad

The Accidental Magic Reversal Squad (also known as the Accidental Magic Reversal Department) was a division of the Department of Magical Accidents And Catastrophes. responsible for reversing the effects of magical mishaps caused by inexperienced witches and wizards, those who had not learned to control their magic, or those who may not have been very skilled. As memory modifications are required, it is possible that Obliviators are included into the squad.

Curse-Breakers

A Curse-Breaker is a profession at the wizard's bank Gringotts, in which a wizard or witch disables or counters curses in ancient tombs or other historical sites, in order to bring back gold to Gringotts. It is speculated that Curse-Breakers are almost the equivalent of Muggle archaeologists.

The International Statue of Secrecy

The International Statute of Wizarding Secrecy (also known as International Statute of Secrecy) is a law in the wizarding world that was first signed in 1689, then established officially in 1692n The law was laid down by the International Confederation Of Wizards to safeguard the wizarding community from Muggles and hide its presence from the world at large.

Fun Facts!

Ollivander is the surname of an old wizarding family, and one of the Sacred Twenty-Eight. The family is known to have been in the wand-making business since 382 BC. It is said that the name means ‘he who owns the olive wand’, which suggests that the original Ollivander arrived in Britain from a Mediterranean country (olive trees not being native to the UK).

The Council of Warlocks was established in 1000 C.E.

Various countries formed their own magical governments in 100 C.E? (Forgotten)
