"Go and get the mail,  Emma! " Emma's mom instructed. Emma went outside and grabbed the mail.  It is Emma's 11th birthday,  but it was not a happy one. Emma's friend is going to a different school,  and they were only a month into the school year! Anyway,  Emma flipped through the mail.  Bills, birthday cards,  pay checks, and other junk.  But one letter stood out to Emma.  It was addressed "Ms.  E.  Rase  4523 Santana Dr. " "hmmmmm" Emma thought. She ran inside and opened the letter. "you have been accepted to Hogwarts School of Witch Craft and Wizardry." A train ticket that said "Platform 9 3/4" and a supply list were also in the envelope. Emma ran upstairs and told her mom everything.  Then Emma called her friend,  Rosie and told her. Rosie explained how she got accepted too, and they could go shopping together in Diagon Alley. A few minutes later,  Emma arrived and they went to a shop that Emma had never seen before.  The sign read "The Leaky Cauldron " Emma, Rosie and Rosie's parents walked in. Rosie's mom took out what looked like a Wand,  and tapped around a hole in a brick wall.  The wall opened and revealed a valley.  Emma and Rosie went into a shop and Rosie bought Emma some books.  Then they went into another shop and got fitted into robes. Rosie sighed. "Tomorrow meet me at the nearest train station. " "OK... " Emma said awkwardly.  Then Rosie dropped Emma back home and said "Oh,  you might need this" and she handed Emma a cat in a kennel. Emma lay awake that night,  thinking about Hogwarts. "What if this is a dream...  What if none of this really happened and I just made it all up...  I hope not.."  Then Emma fell asleep
