Good morning,my diary.Good morning,my readers.Today is a Saturday,and we have no classes.So I wake up late and more relaxed.Hedwig two seems to have delivered my letter to Professor Aspen as there is no letter tied to her leg.She has no replies for me either though.I believe Professor Aspen will answer my questions in time.I freshen up and go down to the Great Hall to eat.The weather is bright and sunny through the enchanted ceiling and it appears to be hot outside.I start my breakfast with two pieces of toast and jam,marmalade,two fried eggs,some sausages and finish it with two cups of coffee.After breakfast I glance at the Slytherin and Ravenclaw house tables to look at Lacey and Rose,and sure enough they are there eating.And simultaneously the owl posts flood in,carrying several messages for Hogwarts students,and I wait eagerly for mine,because it can have grades from my professors or answers to my questions from Professor Aspen.But no owl post came for me,and after washing up at a nearby bathroom,I head to the Hogwartle corridor to meet my friends.Lacey and Rose are already there.We ask each other what plans we have for the day,and noone seems to have any plans except catching up on studies and reading textbooks from the library or having a good long rest,but I have a feeling the day will be interesting.We play three games of Hogwartle each,three separate games for each one of us in competition style to check who guesses their word in the least number of tries,and interestingly enough we each win atleast one of the three rounds.I win my first game guessing 'Draco' on the first try and Lacey ends up second,guessing her word on two tries and Rose guesses hers on the third try.In the second game for each one of us,I guess mine in three tries,whereas Lacey wins guessing hers in the first try and Rose misses the mark by a single letter guessing her word on the second try.In the third game for each of us,I guess my word on the second try,and Lacey takes three tries to guess her word,and Rose takes only one try to guess her word which gives her the win this time."Those are some interesting statistics",Lacey comments as we head back to our dorm rooms to make the most of our first holiday in Hogwarts at leisure.Its the first weekend for first year students at Hogwarts and all first years are very excited.As I enter the Gryffindor common room,I see a lot of Gryffindor first years chatting in front of the fireplace,playing wizard chess or gobstones,reading or excitedly leaving for the Quidditch pitch.I know there are no Quidditch tryouts or matches on this month,so they must be going to watch Quidditch practice.

I head up to my dorm,Gryffindorm,and its quite empty,all the members must be somewhere else perhaps enjoying their weekend or catching up on studies,and I sit on my little four poster bed,pull back the curtains over the two huge glass stained windows near my bed to let the light in,and write my diary.I realize I could have asked my questions related to the library to Headmistress Oshiro,author of the book "The Guide to the HiH Library" which is still lying in my dorm bookshelf,though I finished reading it,as she will probably know better.So,I follow Headmistress Oshiro on social media and write a letter to Headmistress Oshiro praising her book "The Guide to the HiH Library" and asking her my questions,and then sign it as first year Hogwarts student and send it to her via Hedwig Two,or Queenie,as it is a holiday,and it may be difficult to get other owls from the school for postal service,if I need to.Hedwig Two,or Queenie,is very happy with her second assignment,as I was impressed by her as she showed her dedication in the first assignment and perfect wit and perfect skill,leading me to describe her as more than perfectly qualified for a special owl postal service,and she proudly fluffs her feathers and comes forward to take her second assignment letter.I tie the letter with a bit of string to her claw on the right leg,which she chooses and lifts towards me for me to tie her letter on.Then she gives a war cry,more like a screech or shriek,as if she is proud of herself for being my assignment carrier,and flies off with my letter to do her job.I am proud of her too,for being such a pet owl who is so proud to do her job,as some pet owls are too lazy and only munch on food in and outside their cage and fly around and hate to do jobs such as carrying letters for their owners,especially if they are not or have never been in the postal service.Hedwig two,or Queenie,has never been in the postal service too,but she is so proud of her job,and the opportunity of being able to be of some help to her owner,I love her for her lovely qualities and endearing and unique demeanor and her lovely,kind wizened eyes.I look for a treat for her and realize I have none,so I decide I will sneak in some chicken wings or other pieces of chicken meat for her to eat today,from my lunch or dinner as a reward.I usually leave her cage open for her to hunt and she enjoys that very much but I think she will not mind me bringing her up some food for today as a reward.

Hedwig two comes back after a long time with an empty right leg,looking a little tired,and I guess she has had some difficulty finding Headmistress Oshiro because of the long time she took,but she looks proud of herself,and I think she has definitely completed her assignment perfectly.

Good,I am awaiting owls with grades and answers,now,from a lot of people,including both Professor Aspen and Headmistress Oshiro.

I have been noticing a somewhat popular girl called Bea Loralles,at the Gryffindor table in the Great Hall,who seems to be an acquaintance of Rose,as they often talk to each other,and she seems to be a friendly,active and danger loving girl,as you would know if you checked her social media profile.I stalked her on social media and followed her,after I noticed that she joined our group "Our Own Cosy Little Library Corner".I am happy to have her of course,and wonder if Rose got her to join us.I owl her through Hedwig two,asking her if she knows where to find the Hogwarts librarian,trying to start talking to her.She owls back through Hedwig two,saying that she unfortunately doesnt know and I reply with a "No issues,thankyou though,come meet us in the library for our group meetings for the group 'Our Own Cosy Little Library Corner' or meet me in the Gryffindor common room,we are fellow Gryffindors after all,whenever you have time" after which Hedwig two comes back and slumps down,tired in her cage and I promise to not send her on any more errands today.

I have found myself a Remembrall by the way.I saw one rolling in the Gryffindor common room under an armchair just now when I went there to get a drink of water from the water jug,and I picked it up and asked the people around who it belonged to.A Gryffindor girl came forward claiming it as her own,and I asked her if I could borrow it or if she needed it.She replied that I could have it,for as long as I want until she packs for going home as it is a gift from her parents and she will have to take it home,otherwise she never needed it anyway,and the smoke inside it usually remained white when she held it in her hand.I thanked her for her Remembrall and came back to my dorm.I am going to need it to remember things that I plan or need to do and then forget about,life has been getting overwhelming lately and I may soon end up always forgetting about a lot of important things,if I dont use the Remembrall.I will always keep it in my pocket or carry it around with me,so that I can use it from time to time,to help me.

I have been planning to elaborate on an idea,that has been brewing in my mind,for a long time.Its very mischievous and maybe interesting and a little adventurous,and with the help of my friends it will be easy,and a fun little adventure in Hogwarts.Here is my description of my idea of and plan for mischief:-As you all know,I have been obsessing over my favourite magical object,The Marauders Map,finding it and using it,for quite some time now.It will be a fun little adventure to find it and/or make it or whatsoever,just anyhow lay hands on it and use it.Its definitely not in Hogwarts now,and there's only one of its kind as of yet,so it will be dangerous to put my idea of mischief into action and get it or maybe make a new version of it,and I think I already know someone who is very fond of danger,Bea Loralles, and she is already part of our library group,and it will be very difficult to find or make it,as noone is exactly well informed or sure about its current whereabouts(maybe its with Harry Potter?then we have to steal it,or fulfil our dream of meeting our legendary hero and beg him to give us the map for fun,which he will not do at all easily,without some convincing of course,but that will be too easy,I want to steal it or find it elsewhere or try to make it,though that is also very difficult magic)and I also know two other people who can help me on this quest of finding and acquiring or making the Marauders map,one with their cunning and ambitious nature can be very useful in getting things done and in various other circumstances,and the other with true wit and wisdom,can give valuable advice and share and help with,their immense knowledge,and help us get through our quest whenever we are stuck and help find new leads and knowledge in many other ways,yes,I am talking about a true Slytherin,and a true Ravenclaw,my friends,Lacey and Rose,and hence I plan to use our chatty evenings in the library in the guise of our group meetings in the form of "Our Own Cosy Little Library Corner" group  to sit and discuss our plan on the quest,talk and plan more about it and start gathering information in the library to be able to start working on our quest and put our quest plan to action.The library will be a powerful place to hold our meetings,and begin, as we can get hold of a lot of information whatever we need to gather on the Marauder's Map for the quest,close to our hands.I am excited as if we can succeed on this quest,we will be popular in Hogwarts,and so many or all students of Hogwarts will be envious of all four of us,not only for our little adventure,but also for suceeding in planning to and getting the Marauder's Map into our hands,such an enviable object,and even daring to take up such a dangerous quest,especially being first years(the Homounculus charm is very advanced magic).I plan to ask one of my fellow quest members(if they agree to write it,or agree to join the quest,I am going to convince them with my all if I need to)to write down our adventures and record our journey of the quest as we go through it,and put it in the form of a book(I cant do it myself,as I am already writing a diary in the form of a book,and its already tedious work,I hope someone else from among my quest members will agree to do it)and then we can start on the quest and go on our little adventure,and then we can publish the little book record of our adventures in the Hogwarts library,under the authorship of the one who writes it,of course,or any one else of us,and then name the different authors of the book to be all four of us on the first page,as we all shared in writing the same adventure,by all being a part of it.I am sure the book is going to be famous in the Hogwarts library.I am going to call it "The Marauder's Map Quest" or wait no,I have to take opinions,I will suggest this name of the book to my fellow Quest members and then altogether agree upon some name after a discussion.

Okay,so I am ready with a plan and beaming with excitement,and I am going to call them all together for a meeting soon and tell them all this,but just then,an owl comes swooping down on me with an owl post,and it carries a message from Lacey,speak of the name of the devil,and she asks me and Rose to meet her in the library for a chat,as she is bored in her common room,studying on her own.She says she has already messaged Rose via owl post,and Rose must be on her way to the library or already waiting for us,as she was apparently already waiting for a meeting for us to talk and was already feeling bored and has agreed to come.I look up at the owl and of course,its a tawny owl,its "Feathery",her pet owl,from Lacey,whom she uses a lot,and he always swoops down on me,with his ruffled feathers,and his owl post,scaring me and making me worry if he is going to break my breakfast plates or drop them with a clatter and clang,and he is really cute,despite all of these things and habits of his own,and I take him into my hands,ruffle his back feathers a bit and kiss him on his back,where he very much likes to be kissed,and then give him a message for Lacey scribbling it on a bit of parchment,saying that "I am going to be there soon,in the library.".I will be there as soon as I have finished tidying up the mess in my dorm room,as I havent finished doing my Saturday house chores yet,as I was sitting deep in thought and writing my diary.I notice Feathery staring right behind my back at my owl's cage with Hedwig two in it,with jealousy in his keen eyes,and I turn around her to see Hedwig two in her cage,just woken up from a deep slumber,looking intently at me and occassionally staring jealously at Feathery,and I laugh mentally before separating the owls from their stares and tying the message to Feathery's leg with a bit of string and stroking and ruffling her feathers and sending her off by asking her to take my message to Lacey.He soars off into the sky in his,as usual, unique style and I stroke Hedwig two's feathers and pat her back,looking into her eyes and reassure her that I still love her,and then get around the dorm tidying up my things and cleaning the mess with my own hands,manually,as I havent learnt how to use the wand to do charms for cleaning purposes yet.I know that "Scourgify" or the Scouring charm can be used to clean things properly or wash things up for cleaning them,but I havent learnt the incantation properly and its pronunciation correctly,and also do not know the wand movement yet,and I do not want to make mistakes,so I do not use it.I pick up my diary,and some quills and parchment,and my Remembrall and go to the library,leaving my room cleaner than it was before,and meet my friends there at the usual spot,in our corner.Our notice about the group and its group description on it,with a page of rules folded in behind the parchment paper notice,is hung neatly from the noticeboard,and the name of our group "Our Own Cosy Little Library Corner" is  clearly visible,as it is written in the big red letters,even from a distance,on the parchment.

The library is a little dark and dimly lit in our corner,so I light up my wand with the Lumos charm,and my friends do the same,and while we exchange greetings,I give a devious smile and then begin to tell them about my plan of acquiring the Marauders map,and while they listen partly interestedly,intrigued and partly suspiciously,I enjoy the looks on their faces and wait for their reactions.They both agree saying its a great idea and bang their fists on the table and then rap their hands on each other's saying "Done".I am glad and bursting with excitement,as it is finally happening,and Rose with her usual cheerful and always ready spirit,volunteers to write the book for us and take the library's recorded authorship(we will all be named as the book's authors on the first page,of course) while we promise to help her with the tedious work of writing the book as well,while on our adventure.That makes it done,and solved.

I realize that I wanted Bea on it and Bea hasnt been informed about it and decide not to rush her through it as she is a relatively new member,and allow her to listen to us whenever she finds time to meet us in the library,take it easy and come join our quest at her own pace,if she feels like it.Then,we will be like the four Marauders with Bea in this among us.So,my readers you can always check out the book about our quest for the Marauder's map in the library and have a read-off of it for entertainment.Its not published there yet of course,but I promise you on behalf of our Marauder's Map Finders' or Makers' gang(I just made that name)that it will be published soon,as soon as we find or make the Marauder's Map.

After our meeting in the library,and Rose and Lacey taking their time to turn the new idea in their heads and get accustomed to it,we decide to go watch other older year students at Quidditch practice.Lacey seems very excited about it as she is very passionate about flying,and probably already knows how to do so.We gather round the Quidditch pitch and take our seats in the elevated stands around the pitch,decorated in different house colours.The Quidditch pitch looks very beautiful with three golden goalposts of different heights at each end,that look like hoops on sticks.Quidditch practice is going on and the Gryffindors Quidditch team on broomsticks is using the pitch for practice.Almost all witches and wizards even if muggle born know about this game and its rules and even some muggles know from books and movies and other information about Harry Potter in the Muggle world.For those who dont for whatsoever reason or wish to know more,can check out the Hogwarts library for books on Quidditch.I am sure a lot of information will be found in the Hogwarts library about it.I suddenly notice Bea Loralles on the Quidditch pitch and realize she is part of the Gryffindor Quidditch team.I cheer out loud for Bea and clap for her,and she notices me out of the corner of her eye and waves at me,and then turns her attention back to her practice.I have never played Quidditch or particularly enjoyed watching quidditch and am not a fan,but I dont mind spectating sometimes for a while and definitely dont mind cheering my team on for getting us more house points through Quidditch.

I watch Lacey excitedly looking at the Quidditch pitch,recording every move she sees into her brain with her eyes,and mentally calculating the efficacy of each broomstick on the pitch(She is a broomstick expert,if I didnt already tell you).I can tell she is totally engrossed in watching the practice,and maybe plotting in her Slytherin mind how to best win the inter-house Hogwarts Quidditch cup for Slytherin team when or before she starts playing it.Rose is also watching the game excitedly,but I can tell that she is a little less interested than Lacey,and is not much into Quidditch,just like me.I spend my time identifying the seeker,keeper,chasers and beaters,and the bludgers,quaffle,and trying to find the Snitch.I also look at each player and try to decipher to the best of my ability how good they are at doing the job they are supposed to be doing in the game and whether or not the Gryffindor Quidditch team is likely to win the inter-house Quidditch cup.They all seem to be doing well from what I gather and also seem to be practicing really hard with dedication,and I feel hopeful that they may win the inter-house Quidditch Cup and get us some more house points.Just then,an owl from Headmistress Oshiro lands beside me and then waddles on to my lap,carrying a letter from the Headmistress.The letter gives me very detailed clear answers to my questions about the library and the formalities and procedure of publishing a book in the Hogwarts library,and clears away my doubts and queries regarding the rules and regulations and restrictions regarding the publication of a book in the library.I am now sure that I can publish my diary immediately though it is incomplete,and get it edited and reprinted whenever I like,so that it is updated everytime and as frequently as I want it to.I no longer need to leave my diary in the library for people to read and can keep it with me as the original copy,while the printed version stays in the library and while I write and add more in my diary,I can simply submit a copy again whenever I feel like,and get it edited and reprinted and made available in the library again as the latest version.Thats interesting,I send a note to Headmistress Oshiro,thanking her for her valuable guidance and help,through the same owl and immediately leave for the Hogwarts library to get my diary published as a book,explaining to Lacey and Rose that I need to get some important work done in the library.I also tell them that the published version of my book,which is essentially just my diary being written as a book,called "Just My Diary" will be available in the Hogwarts library very very soon and they can go check it out.They are both excited for me and wish me good luck and I take my handwritten diary to the Hogwarts administrative staff for the library section.I tell them I want my diary published as a book.They immediately copy my diary using The Doubling Charm(Geminio) and return the original copy to me,while they use the other copy to start printing.I thank them and smile,while they smile back at me,and I go back to my dorm to have a rest,before heading down to the bathroom to have a bath,clean myself up and then go down to the Great Hall for lunch.The Great Hall is once again full of people in different attires,some wearing their dorm clothes,some still wearing hats from watching Quidditch practice outside,some wearing cloaks and Hogwarts uniforms from their extra classes,some wearing aprons coming from potions or herbology extra classes or just self potions practice or from the greenhouse after self tending of their plots,and some wearing Quidditch uniforms.I was wearing ordinary dorm clothes and my Gryffindor scarf,and sit down to eat,not waiting for Lacey or Rose.I stuff myself full with jacket potatoes,rice pudding,cereal,stew and fried eggs,avoiding the pumpkin juice like I do for forever.I also take some roast chicken onto my plate,and break it down into small pieces,and wrap it in some parchment,and then taking my oily looking parchment parcel in my hand,I rush to a nearby bathroom to wash myself,drink water,pee and then take the parcel upstairs to my Gryffindor dorm in the Gryffindor tower.I unwrap the parcel and toss the food into Hedwig two or Queenie's cage,and toss the oily parchment into the Gryffindor common room fireplace before washing my hands again with water from the Gryffindor common room water jug,and then taking the water jug to pour some water into Hedwig two's water bowl.

I recieve another owl,while still in my dorm.It is a message from my History of Magic professor,Professor Everby,saying I got a 100 marks on my essay assignment on the importance of history,awarding me 10 house points.I now have a 110 house points to my name.I check my social media and follow back my new follower,Dibyarup James Potter.I then decide to catch up on some reading and pull out the A History Of Magic book by Bathilda Bagshot and settle down on an armchair near the Gryffindor common room fireplace to catch up on some reading.

Before supper,we have another meeting in the library at "Our Own Cosy Little Library Corner",putting our plan into action.Rose suggests changing the book's name to "Mysteries of Hogwarts" instead so that we can add more adventures later,starting with the first one being our quest to find the Marauder's map.Lacey and I agree,so if you ever see a book in the library called "Mysteries of Hogwarts" by Rose Peterson,you will know its from us.

Supper in the Great Hall today includes one of my favourite foods-cheese,and I stuff myself full with cottage cheese,dragon milk cheese,rice pudding,cereal and mashed potatoes.

After that,I am back in Gryffindorm reading the book A History Of Magic by wandlight,using the Lumos charm to achieve a light yellow light on the end of my wand,until I fall asleep.
