Pactience - Does It Really Reward

Chapter 3

"Lizzie I think your siblings need to give you two things, one is an apology and the other is, well I'll let them tell you," her stepdad said. What's going on? What are they going to give me? Wait... Lizzie thought. "Sorry Lizzie," Theodore muttered bowing his head, " I know I should have told you but Dennis said.. Mmmph mmph mmmmmm!" Dennis put his hand over Theodore's mouth. "Anyway we've been told to give you this," Dennis said ,through gritted teeth, and handed her... It was the letter ,the letter she had been so waiting to get. She was to excited to be angry at Dennis for stealing it. After that she ate her dinner with speed and rocketed upstairs to get her trunk and to pack the things she didn't have to buy. She had been preparing so long this day and it had finally come. Her family didn't see her come down from her room for the rest of the evening as she was making sure she hadn't forgotten anything, and ticking everything she had on the equipment list, planning where she would go in Diagon alley.

She wanted this moment to be perfect and almost wished it had happened sooner. Suddenly she felt angry, angry because her siblings could have been keeping this secret for who knows how long, angry because of the mornings wasted sitting by the door and waiting for her letter to come, angry because of her patience and the fact that it was wasted.
