Disapointment - A Part Of Life

Chapter 1

It wasn't fair ,most of her brothers and sisters got to go to wizarding schools. Why couldn't she? Lizzie knew that she was good enough at magic and had even tried to practice a few spells but her mum didn't let her. Why hadn't her letter come yet then?

DING DONG! Plummeting down the stairs, Lizzie crashed into the door just getting there before her older brother Dennis. There was always a race to the door whenever the bell went even if it wasn't any of their buisness, Lizzie was never always sure why. Normally, her older brother Dennis would beat everyone but being the only youngest child that could actually run Lizzie became very fast. Part of it was because she really wanted that letter.

Suddenly through the door window, she saw a smooth white envelope on the floor. Could this be it, She thought, could it be the invitation to a new life, to Hogwarts...

She rapidly opened the door and snatched up the envelope. To Mrs Evelyn Baxter. Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! Why did it have to be a letter for her mum. Lizzie was giving up. She would never ever ever get to go to Hogwarts. "Lizzie ,dinner, now!" her sister Holly called. Hmmmmph! Oh well, at least it cant be worse, Lizzie thought.
