He went down in the dungeon and then he tossed me into a cell. I had such a hard fall that I fainted and when I woke up I wasn’t in the Sugar Palace. I was in a black castle that was probably made out of black licorice. I was in a cell that had nothing in it. I needed to escape and I got a crazy awesome idea. I put my hand in my pocket and sure enough there was the gold key I had found when I was 11. As soon as my hand touched I was transported through the shining door and back to my room. I wanted to go back to Candy Land so I touched the key again and I was transported right into the middle of the throne room in the Sugar Palace. The King was on his throne so I stepped up. “Your Majesty,” I said, bowing. “I have just escaped from a castle made out of licorice. I was kidnapped by one of your servant gummy bears.”

“ You were?!” the Queen was very surprised and then calmly said “Which one?”

“Um, how do you tell the difference?” I asked. Really, how?

“Well, I really don’t know how to tell.” said King Candy Cane “But the one that you first met was Steve.” “Well, this is the story about Steve. He came to us looking for a job and so we gave him one as our servant here. That is our story and we don’t know anything else.”

"Yeah, well that's the gummy bear that captured me" I told them.

“Allright, I will try to deal with him. If I cannot I will ban him from Candy Land.” said Queen Candy Cane.

“Thank you.” I said. Then I walked out of the room.
