When I woke up I was laying in a soft bed. I looked up and there was a gingerbread man staring down at me. “Where am I?” I asked. But I knew right after I said it where I was.

“The Sugar Palace,” replied the gingerbread man.

“Can I leave now?” I asked him

“Sure,” he replied, “Just go straight down the hallway into the the throne room.”

“Okay, Thanks for everything!” I said. Then I headed out the door. I went into the throne room but there was no light and it looked like there weren't any people either. Then suddenly a small figure walked out of a dark corner. What

is it?  I wondered as I slowly took another step towards it.  Just as I took another step I recognized it. It was the gummy bear that greeted me when I was 11. I ran up to him and gave him a hug. But then he picked me up. At first I thought it was playful but then he started to walk down the stairs, down, down, down….
