“You did a good job and you deserve a reward.” said Queen Candy Cane. “What do you want most?” she asked.

“I most want to go home.” I said.

“Hmmm, I think I can get you back home.” she said.

“You can?” I asked, surprised.

“Yes, I think I can. We have a special room for people who accidentally come to Candy Land. Follow me.” she said

A few minutes later we arrived at two wooden doors. I was surprised. Wood, in Candy Land? It didn't make sense. But then Queen Candy Cane said, “This room will immediately transfer anyone to wherever they live. It is the most magical room in this palace.”

“I’ll miss this place.” I said.

“If you ever want to come back. You have the key.” she said. I smiled and stepped through the wooden doors. Queen Candy Cane was right. It transported me right back home as if no time had gone by. I suddenly was standing in the middle of my room with a small gold key in my hand.

“That was an exciting adventure.” I said. And I continued to clean my room.
