Three years ago, when I was 11 years old, I was cleaning my room when I found a gold key under my bed. I picked it up and immediately a glowing door appeared in the middle of my room!  It felt as if the hand that was holding the key was being pulled to the door. The key entered the door and right away an invisible force pulled me through the open door. I blinked and when I opened my eyes I found myself in a forest of… swirly lollipops? My first thought was “yum!” My second thought was “Oh my god, I’m in Candy Land!” And right after that my thought was proved to be true. Out of the shadows came a life size gummy bear. It came right up to me and started talking!

“Welcome to Candy Land,” said the gummy bear. “I hope you have fun, but be very careful there are lots of monsters about.” Then he walked away.

“Well,” I said “this is going to be a much more exciting day than I thought.”
