Herbology 101 Lesson 2

Chapter 2

Each plant has it's own unique requirements and qualities so no two are the same so are individuals. Needs such as food, sunlight, watering, habitats and life span are individual to each plant and will be key in taking care of it when planting, and rerooting.

When planting a plant consider: What soil is best? How deep to plant a seed? How much water? How much sunlight?

Repotting a plant other then giving the plant a new fresh pot could also mean in some changes in the care of it. Some plants at a later stage of their life span have a change in their needs such as space, diet, sunlight, water and the Herbologist needs to cater to these new needs.*

Should we take foreign plants from their natural environment? Many plants do change and adapt to their new home but it can disrupt the balance of the plants natural life cycle making it longer or shorter. Medical and experimental use  of the plant can drastically shorten the life of a plant.**
