Herbology 101 Lesson 1
Chapter 1
Herbology is the study of plants of both magical and none magical nature.
Herbology is needed for: Potions, healing, and understanding your own wand to give an advantage in a dual to know which spells to use.
Basic Equipment : Dragon-Hide Gloves, Earmuffs, Wand*
Additional Lab/Class Equipment: Closed toe shoes, Apron, Mask*
Plat Care: Dragon dung (scentless, most nutritious), Mooncalf dung (more gentle, use on sensitive plants), Centaur tears** (do not use on salt water plants e.g. gillyweed)
* 30000 wizards and witches fail to use proper equipment. 21% are irrevocable!!!!!
** Controversial as methods of obtaining are not always ethical.
