I woke up slowly and hazily at first. My watch reads 02:37. Why did I wake up? Then I hear it. Whimpering. Half asleep, I get out of bed and put my robe on. I silently tip-toe across the common room to Draco's dorm. Trying not to make a sound, I open the door.

Sitting, facing the opposite way, on the edge of the bed is Draco, crying. I slowly approach him. "Draco..." He looks at me, with a heartbroken look. 

"You still think I'm angry with you, don't you?" I said. He shook his head but didn't say anything.

Finally he spoke. "That night. On the astronomy tower. I couldn't do it. I thought Voldemort was going to kill my whole family.

"Draco. Please. Please just st-"

"That night. When Bellatrix was torturing you. I didn't do anything. I just let everything happen."

"Listen Draco" I said firmly "Would you please stop beating yourself up? I understand that you feel. But please just stop. I've said this so many times but none of this was your fault. You are an amazing person. Your head boy of Hogwarts!"

We sat in silence for a while. Finally, he nodded his head slowly. I took in a deep breath. What am I doing? 

"I'll stay with you until you fall asleep, okay?" 

"Okay"

He lay down and I pulled the covers over him. I sat on the floor beside his bed. 

"Thanks, Hermione"

I watched him as he closed his eyes.

"In dreams we enter a world that is entirely our own" I whispered
