History of the Castle of Mages

Chapter 1

Castelobruxo, the Brazilian School of Magic, which takes students from all of South America, may be found hidden deep within the rainforest, but it someday took students from all over the America Continent, it was created on the 10th century, almost at the same time as Hogwarts, and over 600 years older than Ilvermorny.

The School was founded lonf before the Europeans came to America for the first time, the original name of the school is unknown, but it was changed due to the Colonization, but it never really changed in it's magical core.

Found hidden deep in the Rainforest, the school is guarded by creatures known as Caipora, who usually cause lots of trouble in the school, they are believed to be way worse than a certain poltergeist from Hogwarts, each of them.

The school is actually way bigger than what it looks like, it has secret door made using enchantments that allow for quick transportation on the continet, they go from Aztec Temples to Caral, having connection to all the Pre-Columbian cultures.

Here is the Curriculum this School Follows:

  12. Flying: This is not only broom flight, but other transportation means like partitions or the creation of transporters, and of course unsupported flight in different forms depending on the students preference.

As you can see some of the subjects are different from other Schools like Hogwarts, Dark Combat Magic is like a mixture of Defense Against the Dark Arts from Hogwarts and Dark Arts from Durmstrang. Others like Potions and Herblore are a combination of two completely different subjects in Hogwarts, but in Castelobruxo they work together without any problem.
