-Quidditch Player of the Issue-

This week’s Quidditch player of the Issue is none other than the son of esteemed Quidditch player Oliver Wood; Jack Wood. Jack got his first broom when he was three years old, and even though it was just a toy he somehow managed to fly onto the roof of his house. Since then he’s been playing Quidditch as much as he can, and, turning sixteen, has just been accepted to play chaser for the Chudley Cannons. He and his father are delighted and he stated in an interview:

“I’ve been wanting to play league Quidditch for ages but never had the guts until my dad signed me up for trials without telling me. Of course, I wasn’t angry, just incredibly nervous. Luckily this didn’t seem to affect my play and I am now ecstatic to have been accepted.”

Jack was born on the 7 June 1999 to parents Oliver Wood and Cassandra Marshall and is currently in his sixth year of education at Hogwarts, though he is taking time off to play in matches. He is said to be one of those people who are ‘ultimately lovely’ - as stated by a reporter from the daily prophet, Joanna Montgomery. He is currently touring in Brazil with his family and girlfriend, Dominique Weasley, before his first match (which will be covered in a following issue). He is a Hufflepuff, lover of Muggle sci-fi television and a talented archer.
