Chapter 1

"I can't believe it! My daughter, going to Hogwarts! I'm so proud of you, my little pure blood witch!" She kissed me on the check and gave me a big hug. "Mom..." I said, feeling quite embarrassed. My parents dropped me off at platform nine and three quarters and waved goodbye. My mom was crying, while dad hugged her tight waving goodbye. He mouthed to me. "I love you sweetheart." I smiled and waved, dropping my stuff off at the baggage area. I hopped on the train, caught in a huge crowd of students. I finally found an empty booth, and closed the door behind me. People walked past, clearly not inclined to sit next to me. Then, a boy opened the door, and decided to sit across from me.

"Um, hi." I said casually. "Hi there, sweet cheeks." He said, winking, then laying across the seat casually. "Um, okay. Interesting." I thought to myself. "So, what's your name?" The boy asked, smiling a sly smile. "It's Ashlynn, but you can call me Ash." I smiled, pushing a strand of fallen hair back. "Cool name. I'm Ryder. Nice to meet ya." He said, flashing that sly smile that made my heart race. "So, is this your first year at Hogwarts too?" I asked, my heart still beating hard. "Yeah, I never really wanted come here, but since I'm a pure blood.. kinda had to." I soon realised along with that sly smile of his, he had pierced ears and the tips of his hair was dyed. "I like your hair, sweet cheeks." He said, sitting up, admiring me. "Ah, thanks. My mom doesn't really approve, but I like it." "Yeah, its cool. Pink tips suites you. I makes you stand out. You not like the other girls, are you blondy?" He asked. "No, probably not."

After hours of me and Ryder chatting to each other, we finally made it to Hogwarts.
