The light was blindingly bright I had to squint my eyes to see. I could hear chuckling laughter and distinctive chatter in the background but there was one voice that stood out the most. A very deep one but recognisable,
"You did it Hope! You did it." The voice was gentle and praising. Another voice replied to that voice. It was weaker, like the person had just been in severe pain and it was more gentle also recognisable.
"He's so beautiful, like his father. Our little Remus." I tried opening my eyes more, revealing my chocolate brown eyes.
I heard a lot of cooing and praising at that point, then something warm touched my forehead. It was gentle, soft and loving. I didn't want it to end then it happened again but with a more stubbly touch equally as brilliant. After that sudden screaming and crying came from the same room. It wouldn't stop but then i realised it came from me.
"The milk..." The two voices said in sync. A warm liquid sensation followed those two words. It tasted sweet and forgiving. My hand hit the bottle a couple times as I was drinking and then I fell into a deep slumber as I was cradled endlessly 
"It's a muggle way of putting children asleep, I do hope you don't mind Lyall. He seems to like it"
"Not at all."
