Chapter 4
Harry Potter? Lord Voldemort? What was happening? Draco had been told many stories about Lord Voldemort, especially by his father but he didn't think they were real. Are they?
Slowy, the Hogwarts express pulled into a platform, which looked just as beautiful as the last. As, Draco got off the train a voice filled his ears "First years! First years! This way to the boats!"
"Ooh's" and "Aah's" filled the noise. Draco was on a small boat with Crabbe and Goyle sailing across the lake that surrounded Hogwarts. All the students were greeted with the spectacular sight of the castle.
Once the boat ride was over, the first years walked up at least 4 fligts of stairs and were met by a very stern looking teacher with a pointed hat and emerald green robes.
"Welcome to your new school." she said "My name is Professor McGonagall. Now, in a moment you will be sorted into your houses. They are Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and Slytherin."
Crabbe and Goyle winked at each other at the mention of Slytherin but Draco had a feeling that the Professor had said it with a bitter taste on her tounge.
"Please excuse me while we prepare."
"Come on Draco! Be the superior" thought Draco. Finally he blurted out "Harry Potter has come to hogwarts, so it seems."
A murmer arose from the crowd of children.
"This is Crabbe and Goyle. And I'm Malfoy, Draco Malfoy" Draco said with ease. Maybe he was being the superior? Draco strutted up to Harry when a boy with red hair sniggered.
"Think my name's funny do you?" demanded Draco "No need to ask yours! Red hair and a hand me down robe? You must be a Weasley!"
