Classical Planets - non-fixed object that can be seen with the naked eye
- Includes Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn
- Most attributed with a metals, attributes, and deities
- Seven Planetary Aspects (SPA)- one for each planet
- Named for Roman Gods
Panacea - elixir said to cure all illnesses and prolong life
- 2500 BCE - Sarus Ignus tried to use SPA to find

Each aspect connected to another aspect
- Saturn (Ruthenium:Ancient Wisdom) to Moon (Copper:Rebirth)
- Jupiter (Gold:Strong) to Mercury (Lead:Speed/Intuition)
- Mars (Iron:Chaos) to Venus (Silver:Calm)
- Sun (All:All) to All
Transitional (medio) - characteristics of one celestial body transfer to another
- Aditus - beginning, begging phase
- Lasts through most of the transitional, beginning of transmutation and through actual process
- Barathri - the abyss - ending, where all characteristics are officially transferred
- Transitional Period (TP) - timer required for transmutation - can vary
- Spells used to transmute the proper elements
- Use correspondences - can give silver characteristics to iron and vice versa

First Transmutation - Venus and Mars
- Venus
- Second planet
- Greek counterpart: Aphrodite - goddess of love
- Silver - calm, soothing
- Mars
- Fourth planet - red planet
- Greek counterpart Ares
- Iron - chaotic, highly reactive
- Venus to Mars TP - 1 day
- Easiest, quickest transition
- Spell must be done within TP
- Mars to Venus TP - 1 day
- Risk involved - iron is very reactive, as is Mars to Venus
- Should only be done in room with protection enchantments

Second Transmutation - Mercury and Jupiter
- Mercury
- First planet
- Fastest orbit
- Greek counterpart Hermes
- Lead - speed and intuition
- Typically associated with Saturn - Paracelsus’s Harmony of Elements and Organs

- Jupiter
- Largest planet - first gas giant
- Greek counterpart Zeus
- Gold - strong and durable
- Jupiter to Mercury TP - 31 days
- Never fails, pretty easy and safe

- Singh Dharma - Indian alchemist
- Used frequently
- Wanted to destroy dragon pox
- Experimented turning lead to silver

- Moon to Saturn TP - 11 days
- Very popular as well
- Can prolong life
- Saturn to Moon TP - 11 days

- Four phases
- Nigredo - changing characteristics
- Albedo - changing characteristics
- Citrinitas - transmuting physical aspects
- Rubedo - transmuting physical aspects
- Each phase has a spell
- Spells are a medium to channel planetary energy
- Includes Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn
