At 7:00 in the morning, in the first day of the summer holidays, you would expect most people to still be in bed but Albus potter wasn't. He was wide awake and had a huge book in front of him. Albus hadn't started Hogwarts yet but he ws determined to get a head start because of his older brother James.

James didn't bother to study before his first year began, in fact, he didn't even touch his school books.  This was a big mistake because he got the lowest scores in his year and this got him into big trouble with his parents, Harry and Ginny. He wasn't allowed out of the house for the whole summer because he did so bad. Albus was determined to do better than James so he studied every morning.

 Two hours later, his mom called him downstairs for breakfast. When he reached the dining room, he was greeted by his grumpy brother James, his sister Lilly, who was bouncing around the room like normal, and his parents, who were smiling and occasionally shooting angry looks to James.

About 1½ months later…

For James the holidays got worse, Dad made him study for at least an hour each day for the last week of the holiday, but for Albus everything was going great. He would be going to hogwarts the next day and he had memorised each textbook word for word and could cast quite a few spells. He couldn't wait to learn more at school! He had almost finished his packing, all he needed to pack were his books but he was going to do that the next day.
