Chapter 2
Lesson 1
For your first lesson in Muggle Studies, you will be learning all about how muggles have influenced you personally. This is great way to connect yourself to the world of muggles. You should note that self connection and imagining yourself with out magic is a sometimes hard, but very important aspect of Muggle Studies.
Warmup - Discussion
Turn to the person sitting next to you and take turns listing every muggle artifact in your home that you can think of. If you are not sure if an objet is muggle related, then you are welcome to ask your professor. If you do not have anyone sitting next to you, this will be a writing warmup. Get out a piece of parchment and write down every muggle artifact in your home that you can think of. This activity will be five to ten minutes long depending on the length of time you have in the class.
Instructions - Muggle Schedule Project
For your first project, you will be dividing into groups of three of four. This lesson's main theme is "What Do Muggles Do To Function?" You and your group will be making a day schedule for a muggle. This project must include:
Waking up and going to sleep
Meals
Work and/or school
At least three other muggle activities
The schedule must not have any over lapping activities and it must be at least thirty-five centimeters long. You will have the rest of class to work in this. You will have three days to work on this. All of class time will be devoted to the project until it is due. You are more than welcome to work on this as homework, but hopefully you have been given enough time to do this project.

Homework
Your homework is to find at least one of these books in your school's library. If you are worried about your library not having these titles, don't worry, being a textbook, your school will most likely have Muggles and You, but if your school still doesn't have it, check the appendix for more titles.
