Foe Or Friend?

Chapter 7

LATER

I feel a sharp prodding in my side as I sleepily open my eye to see MC prodding me with his wand. His face returned to its normal color, and his tongue no longer swollen.

"Your face is back to normal!" I said in the most enthusiastic voice I could muster after I just woke up.

"Yea, she fixed me up, then gave me a lecture about the proper use of magic blah blah blah" MC said with a chuckle.

"Well, good to see you're so chipper, what time is it?"

"Only like 6"

"Oh good, I have plenty of time to finish my potions paper then."

"I have that class, the 500 page research paper right?"

"Yea, I better get on that, we have class with the Gryffindors tomorrow"

"No, we have class with them today, in two hours."

"YOU DIDN'T SAY IT WAS 6 IN THE MORNING!!! CRUD!!!" I jumped out of the sofa I had fallen asleep on, and rushed to my room to start my potions paper to have it finished by the sunrise. As I grabbed my pen and paper and began furiously writing out the ethics of potions I hear a sharp and persistent tap on the window I turned my head to see a owl sitting outside, opening up the window he dropped a letter at my feet and flew off back to his owner. I snatch up the letter and open it quickly. The letter only contained one word. "Gotcha!" I dropped the letter, disappointed at my own stupidity at believing I could of slept for 14 hours on a chair. I grabbed my quill and slowly, began writing my potions essay, plotting the suffering that would become of "MC the Dick".
