Riddle of the Dawntreader

The future of Jeanette Riddle has never been
exactly clear.

Daughter of a French
Prostitute and an English Gentleman, not only is Jeanette sandwiched between
two social classes, she is also a witch. Choosing one route of many, she enrols
at Beaxbaton's Academy of Magic just before the outbreak of war, Jeanette has
little contact with her father as the school goes on throughout the invasion of
France. That is, until a warm summers day in 1944 when Thomas Riddle summons his
daughter to England for her safety and she turns to Hogwarts for her education,
lost in a new country. But Jeanette is not welcomed there, soon wishing to
escape her daily turmoil and loss. Little does she know, her wish is soon to be
granted as she plunges into a salty sea and an unforgettable adventure.
