It was a beautiful hot sunny day. I was in my bed reading. It was around 11 o'clock. My mother was at work at the ministry of magic, my dad was downstairs preparing his lessons for the next year and my two brothers were playing quidditch in the forest next to the house. It was a day like the other for my family.

Suddenly my dad, breaking the silence that was in the house, shouted: "LUNA THERE'S A LETTER FOR YOU". I grew up in a wizard family, so I knew what a letter arriving in the summer holiday was meaning. I was waiting for it since my eldest brother has been accepted to Hogwarts. I ran downstairs and I saw my father holding a sealed enveloppe. He smiled and gave it to me. I suddenly was really afraid to open it. What if I wasn't accepted? What if I was the only person in the family that couldn't go to Hogwarts? That would shameful! I was just standing awkwardly in the middle of the living room with the enveloppe in my hands. "Go ahead! Open it" said my father.

I took a deep breath and I opened it. I looked down and just saw one sentence : "We are pleased to inform you that you are accepted at Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry." I was so happy I couldn't speak anymore. I was still standing up, but that time I had dumb happy smile. I was just thinking about all the awesome stuff that will happen to me, now that I'll go to the greatest magical school. 

For the first time of my life, I have felt the feeling of pure joy filling my all body. It was the first time, but definitely not the last, because great things were waiting me at Hogwarts.
