Acromaantula

The Acromantula is a monstrous eight-eyed spider capable of human speech that originated in Borneo, a dense jungle. Features of the Acromantula are thick black hair that covers its body; leg span the reaches up to fifteen feet; pincers, that provide a clicking sound when excited or angry; and it's poisonous secretion. The Acromantula is carnivorous and prefers large prey.

The ashwinder is created when a magical fire is allowed to burn unchecked for too long. It portrays the shape and look of a thin, pale-grey serpent with glowing red eyes. It lives up to one hour and during that time looks for a dark concealed space to lay its eggs. The eggs are what we use in Love Potions and may be eaten whole as a cure for ague. They are found worldwide.




Augurey



Augurey  (also known as Irish Phoenix)

The Augurey is a thin and mournful looking bird, somewhat like a small underfed vulture. It’s greenish black and is intensely shy. It nests in bramble and thorns and its diet contains of large insects, and fairies, and flies only in the heavy rain. Otherwise it remains in its tear-shaped nest.
