Being a first year, it took me a while to realize that you should only begin with probably one or two courses at a time. 

For example: I began with DADA, Transfiguration and History of Magic. 

I love potions, don't get me wrong, but in hogwartsishere, the potions lesson is actually hardcore physics which is quite difficult so I decided to leave potions for later on this year. 

Charms is also quite a good selection as charms is easy to understand and easy to score. 

You must complete the assignments for each lesson and also try to do the extra credit assignments for more grades!
