Dragons are smart about not being seen by muggles, but sometimes a muggle gets one and kills it. Also, in the wizarding community, people have been hunting dragons for their hide, horns, scales, and other things. This is wrong. If we all stand up then maybe they won't go into extinction. In 1998, they almost died out. But wizards and witches saw this and protected them. Now, there are more than billions of dragons out there!
