I had just been like other muggles back then I was perfectly normal if you ask me. I ate what muggles ate I was friends with muggles too. I went to a private school run by muggles! I never knew that such strange things would happen that summer. I was a little held back because I was still ten.

It was the last day of school and I was asking my friends where they were going for middle school. "I private middle school in, uhhh, hmmm, oh that's right, in Ireland!" said Grace. "I am going to that one too" Abbey said fearfully. "Why are you all stammering" Melony asked "Well I'm going to the school down the road, if you wanted to know"

A few days after my last day I was invited to my grandma's house so my parents could go on a date. I sat on the couch reading my Harry Potter book The Chamber of Secrets. "What in good heavens are ya reading Christene!" My grandmother asked. "Harry Potter Chamber of Secrets" I stammered.

I was getting late and my parents came to pick me up. "Can Christene stay for another night?" My grandmother asked "I have an awful lot to do tomorrow, can she stay and help?" "Sure" my father said "It is summer after all" They all left like a whip and it was just grandfather, grandmother, and me.

The next morning I got up and was assigned my first chore. I was to check the back of the closet for webs. But I didn't find webs I found a door. I was behind all of grandmothers long dresses. Hidden from sight! I peeked through the little hole but I stumbled through. There as no doorknobs. I stared in awe at all the books. But on one wall was a family tree reaching all the way to the celing. I fell back when I saw my name. It said Christene Waddle. Under it said Witch.
