November 15th, 2015. (LATE NIGHT, 12 AM)

I ran to the dorm bathroom and vomited. Somehow, I had gotten food poisoning from a Pop-Tart. And Desiree was so stressed, she had gotten sick. So, we were just laying in the Ravenclaw common room, talking. On top of my food poisoning, I had a killer migraine, so that was just a cherry on top of a sucky night altogether. No one else was in the common room, so we could talk about whatever we wanted to. "Well, I gotta go to bed." I said. "Goodnight." Desiree said. "Night." I replied. I changed into more comfortable sleeping clothes but I couldn't sleep. Not by a long shot. I don't know why my brain was keeping me awake, but it needed to STOP. I think it was anxiety from homework and classes. Finally, I managed to fall asleep after one hour of being in bed.

(EARLY MORNING ON SATURDAY, 4 AM)

I was in the dining hall with Desiree, eating pancakes and waffles. A nerdy-looking guy was glancing over at us, smiling foolishly. Desiree nudged me ever-so-slightly (NOT) and whispered "Hey. Do you see that guy looking over at us?" She said. "Yeah. He looks like a huge dork." I said. "I think he looks, well, kinda cute." She said. I rolled my eyes.
