November 13th, 2015.

Oh my god. I am so nervous! I thought. I bumped into a girl, she had passed by me in the train. "Oh, h-hi." she stuttered nervously. "Hi, I'm Nix. What's your name?" I said. "Desiree." she said. As the hoard of students shuffled through the halls, Desiree and I talked and talked. We were led into the dining hall, where a grand feast was prepared. The hoard of students all sat down. "Hello, students. I am Headmaster Moore. And, it's time for The Sorting Hat!" He said, as he pulled out the legendary Sorting Hat. "Nix Pierce." The Headmaster read off a list. Oh jeez. I thought as I walked up to the chair. I sat down, then Headmaster Moore placed the old and tattered hat on my head. "RAVENCLAW!!" The hat exclaimed, then the entire Ravenclaw table clapped. I sat down at the Ravenclaw table, then Desiree glanced over at me as if she knew she would get her name called next. And surely enough, her name WAS called next. She walked up to the chair nervously, and I shot her a reassuring look. The hat took a few minutes to be sure which house she was would be fit in well with. "GRYFFINDOR!!" The hat finally yelled. As she walked over to the Gryffindor's table, she looked sad. Even though we had only known each other for an hour and a half, we knew we were gonna be lifelong friends.
