The Boy

Chapter 2

I have permanently broken the hearts of many boys, but this one I thought I should remember. He was so sweet, they all were really, that I want to pay a tribute to him by writing. I met him on my ninety-eighth first day of high school. I could tell he was staring at me, and that was enough. I winked at him and he blushed. During lunch, he was sitting alone and I came up to him, smiling my most flirtatious smile. "H-hi" he managed to whisper. "Hello there," I replied smoothly, sitting down next to him. "What's your name?" "Aaron. Aaron Jakobson." "Well hello, Aaron."

We talked all through lunch. After school, I saw him hanging out on the football field, and I sashayed over to him. He looked confused, and I put one of my fingers over his lips. I continued laughing, then did what I always had to do eventually. I used my magic, darker magic than is known to mankind, and opened a hole in his chest. His screams echoed through the deserted school. They were a bit annoying, so I silenced them with a wave of my hand. I reached into his chest and carefully extracted his heart. I then released him and he lay on the ground. I left, tossing his still-beating heart in my hands, as he lay screaming on the field.

When I got to the dungeon that is my home, I places his heart in a jar of angel tears, so that it would beat forever, leaving Aaron to an eternal life of pain and agony. And that is what a normal day is like for me...
