Promises are promises.
Let me tell you about why you shouldn't care about anyone.
Let's see here...
So, is there a certain person you like (or even love)?
Well, do you like them for what they are? Do you not judge them by their external looks?
Yeah.
They all say you should like them for what they are.
But the problem here is that external looks are part of what they are. They were born with it.
Huh? Are you saying that people should be judged for their personality?
Actually, people are born with their personality as well.
When you're born, you have no personality. It's something you gain through experience.
So that's not what you are, because you weren't born with it - it can always change, very easily, as well.
If you want to like people for what they are, you truly are saying that you like how beautiful (or ugly - which I doubt) and talented they are (people are born with IQ and EQ).
The pathetic people who say "I want to be judged for who I am" are the ugly untalented people who can't fend for themselves.
...
I warned you about what is in this book.
