The best thing about being a hosteler is that you get to know people around you. So many kinds from different parts of the country with different habits. I would like to quote what our say about this.

Remember, Child now you are going to be in different kinds of people. They all have different habits but you should remember who you are. Listen to everyone, Analyse everyone but always do what is right. And never hide anything from us. Whatever you do you must think before you do that. Don't get yourself in any kind of fight, We won't be there to help you or control you. You are on your own now.

Well the last line "You are on your OWN". Are you serious. Nah! Instead you would take out your phone and start dialing and questioning about whereabouts. And we would be like Oh Damn! Wrong timing but you know that you can't ignore the call so you pick up. Now comes the funny part. While you are talking, your dorm-mates start making those weird noises and shouting like hell. And your parent on the phone starts asking questions. What are you doing. Are you fighting. Where are those weird noises coming out from. And you have nothing to reply and you are listening and swearing inside that next time when he/she would be on call he/she is going to die.

Without dorm-mates you can't imagine life in hostel. They are so important. You share, talk, fight and a bond develops........
