1. Hogwarts was founded over 1000 years (the exact date is unknown) by two witches and two wizards.

2. The only person know to be able to apparate in Hogwarts is Albus Dumbledore.

3 A muggle cannot see Hogwarts, If a came across the area, they will see falling down castle with a sign saying:  “DANGER, DO NOT ENTER, UNSAFE.”

4. If a boy tried to climb up the stairs to the girls dormitory the stairs will immediately turn into a slide.

5. The room of requirement is on the 7th floor. However you will not be able to find it unless you are in great need

6. There is a secret passage way to Hogsmead through the shrieking shack that begins at the trunk of the womping willow. However it is very dangerous and i don't advise you try and get to it.

7. Ever wondered what the Hogwarts motto really means? well Draco dormiens nunquam titllandu translates from Latin to never tickle a sleeping dragon.

8. The sorting hat once belonged to Godric Gryffindor (one of Hogwarts's founders) before a charm was put on it to give it the ability to sort students into their separate houses.

9. The chamber of secrets is hidden on the second floor but if you don't speak parsle tounge good luck!

10. There are 142 staircases in hogwarts all of which move. So careful where you tread!
