September 9th (Wednesday)

My second week is going great so far! I am about to go down to breakfast with Charlotte but I took time to write in you. I think I am going to bring you to breakfast. We are going to meet up with Albus for Care for Magical Creatures since Gryffindor and Hufflepuff share that class. That is our Wednesday morning class. Elena told me this morning that she heard from a Gryffindor that we were going to see a giant this lesson! I am terrified but Alice says she doesn't believe it. I am unsure but it would be kind of cool right? Charlotte says that we wouldn't meet a giant because they are known for killing wizards and witches. That sounds even more scary!

Well we are going down to breakfast now so I guess I will take you with me. 

So we are at breakfast now and Lucas stopped by to ask us if we wanted to go down to the library later. I passed up the offer since I went to the library yesterday. So Charlotte and Lucas are going later in the afternoon. I might join them since I have nothing else to do. I am going to go now so I can talk with Charlotte. Goodbye for now!

So it is lunch now and for some reason Professor Gragen was not in Care of Magical Creatures today. I haven't been at Hogwarts for long but I heard some older kids talking about how it was odd. Oh and I might not be able to write in you for a couple of days. This weekend coming up is the first Hogsmeade weekend for the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th years. James is going to try and sneak to Hogsmeade with them. We are going to go and see if it works. He says if it works on Saturday he is going to try and take us on Sunday. It sounds fun but dangerous! I think Charlotte wants to try and sneak out with him on Saturday. I am not sure if it will work though. Only Lucas, Albus and I know they are going to try and sneak out. 

My guess is that they will get caught and get in some trouble. Anyways, my second weeks at Hogwarts is going well. I have friends, Jonas seems to be having a nice time, classes are going great and I got a letter from Mum and Dad today. I told them in my last letter about Lilac sleeping in the fireplace and they replied with the advice to keep him in the room and make sure the doors are closed. I plan on writing them later but this is all I can write for now. Bye for now!
