Arthur'S Diary
I was looking forward to joining Hogwarts. That was until I saw that stupid frog amongst the students. He was annoying enough before this- I thought I'd escaped- but now..?

The First Day
Chapter 1

I wasn't happy about this. Not happy one bit. This whole trip was meant to be a bonding experience between me and my parents while we bought supplies. But No! That damn Frenchman had to come and get in the way of it. Why was he even here anyway? Shouldn't he be at that French school Beauxbatons? Or-- whatever it's called.
And after all that shopping that put me in a bad mood, guess what happened? Can't guess? The only empty seat that was on the train was in the same compartment as Francis! Goddamn frog..
I cant believe I was stuck in that carriage with him for so long. I responded to any kind of conversation by just ignoring him, just reading a book a book instead. Immersing myself in random books and fantasy lands was always the best way to keep myself calm and happy, even if on the outside I didn't look it. I kept an eye on my watch, glancing down every so often. The sooner I changed into my robes the sooner I would be away from this bastard.

I can't believe he had the nerve to tell me it was time to get changed! I knew what time it was. It felt like he was mocking me! ugh-- Anyway-- I yelled at him of course-- But it kind of felt pointless.

Oh. My. God. That was bloody brilliant!! I was so excited all the way through the sorting ceremony I was barely keeping my composure! It was just like mother said. The anticipation, the cheering when people joined a house, it was just. It was wonderful! I was so nervous when it was my turn. I think I may have gotten a little bit of stage fright from going up in front of all those people-- But who cares!? It was amazing! They had changed the stool since mother had left. It was actually pretty comfortable. Though I was sat on it a while. I think the sorting hat was thinking a little too much for me. I swear I was more suited to going into Slytherin. Oh well. The sorting hat was always right I guess? I'm just happy I wasn't sitting next to Francis.. Though I did see a boy from the Gryffindor table grinning at me. He looked like he was an excited little puppy. He had sandy blond hair and cerulean eyes, and a weird cowlick thingy. There was also a girl sitting beside me that was pretty nice. She was tiny though. She didn't even look eleven. She was adorable though. Chin length blond hair and green eyes. She even had a little purple ribbon. I learnt her name was Lili Vogel. And that she had a big brother in Ravenclaw called Vash Zwingli. We became good friends during the feast. It was a shame she was only in Transfiguration with me and nothing else. I did find out that Francis shared all my classes though. I wasn't happy about that at all. It really put a damper on my mood. Hopefully we wouldn't be sitting be sitting next to each other though... We were also in the same dorm! At this rate I really am going to only concentrate on my studies.
I do have to say though.. That bastard had great good hair.
Till next time
