An Army Moste Foul

Chapter 2

This chapter guides you on how to go about creating an army of inferi, should you choose to create one. However, it is highly unadvisable, and is moste risky. The general procedure is highlighted below:

1. After carving the transmutation circle in miniature on the subject's body (arm, thighs, etc.; see chapter 1), instead of performing the usual 'Vivum Finite', let the body rest in a cold place, preferably on a tombstone or a slab of ice.

2. Prepare a potion known as the 'Circle of Fire Potion'. The steps for preparing it are highlighted below:

a) Extract three drops of the remnants of the carcass's blood, and drop it into a cauldron with boiling hot water.

b) Ground and add three measures of Boomslang skin and fluxweed to the cauldron. Let it simmer for a while.

c) Take a small vial full of dragon blood (Ukrainian Ironbelly blood works the best), and add seven drops of your own blood, by means of a knife.

d) Pour the mixture into the cauldron, and bring to a boil.

e) Wave your wand in a small arc, with the nonverbal spell 'Locomotor necrotis'

3. Pour this potion into the subject's mouth, and finish the transformation by means of 'Vivum Finite'.

Note: The said inferius will have the ability to transform any and every human being, whether living or dead, into another inferius. However, you will have no direct control over the secondary inferi, which will only be able to guard an artifact or dwelling. You will only have full control over the primary inferius, and both the primary and the secondary inferi will continue to exist after you have passed on.
