Hermione's P.O.V
They got back to the common room and Hermione decided she wanted to get a bit more of her reading done. She went into her room and picked up whatever book was at the top of her bag. It was a muggle book. She went back into the common room, which was empty, and sat down on the couch next to the fire and started her book from the very beginning, she was almost halfway through it when Draco came out of his room and sat on the couch too. His hair was wet and he smelt even better than he did in the kitchens. Hermione had to mentally slap herself again, she shouldn't be thinking about him in this way. She decided to stop reading and go for a shower. She put her book down on the couch and went into her room to get her things. She stepped into the nice warm water and let it run down her body she washed herself then stepped out of the shower. She grabbed her towel and went back into her room. She went to her wardrobe and got out a pale blue/grey silk night dress pulled it on. She went back out into the common room to get her book, where she found Draco curled up on the couch, fast asleep, with her book in his hand. Hermione laughed to herself and went into her room. She picked up a spare blanket and put it over Draco. She took the book out from his hands carefully so that she didn't wake him and she went into her room. She read a little bit more then she went to sleep.
Draco's P.O.V
They got back to the common room, Draco went straight to his room. He locked the door and sat down on the edge of his bed. What is he doing, he can't do this to her, he's just going to hurt her. Why did she tell him all of that stuff? Was it really all true, or was sh just saying it to make him feel better? What ever her reason was it had worked, he did feel better about everything. She was right he didn't want to do any of that stuff, he just did what he had to do in order to survive. Maybe everything that happened wasn't his fault after all, he had definitely played a part in the results but perhaps it wasn't as big a part as he had previously thought. Thinking about all of this was starting to hurt his head. All of this new information was getting a bit too much. Draco picked up a towel and went for a nice cold shower. He tried not to think about everything hat had just happened but it was very difficult, this had changed his perspective of everything. He washed then got out of the shower. Wit a towel wrapped around his waist he went into his room, got a pair of black track suit bottoms and a fitted white T-shirt, pulled them on and walked out into the common room, where he found Hermione reading. No surprise there. He walks over to Hermione and sits beside her in silence watching the concentration on her face as she read her book. After about 10 minutes she got up and left her book on the couch. Draco wondered what book it was she was reading so he picked it up and opened it, 'Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare' he didn't recognise it so he figured that it must be a muggle book. He's never read a muggle book before so he started to read this one. It was strange it was about two families that don't get on but a member from each family (Romeo and Juliet) fall in love. It was not his kind of book, but he had to admit it was quite good. He was so tired though that whilst reading he couldn't help but fall asleep, he wanted to keep reading he just couldn't
Back to normal
The next day Draco woke up to find himself lying in the common room with a teal blanket on top of him, this wasn't the colour of his room so Hermione must have done it. He got up and folded the blanket, walked over to Hermiones room and knocked on the door. 'Come in' she called. Draco opened the door and took a step in. Hermione turned around, she was at her wardrobe looking through the clothes trying to find something to war. 'I was just giving you this back, I figured it mus be yours since my room is still green. Thanks.' he said as he put the blanket down on the bed. 'It's no problem.' she said. 'I saw you were reading my book last night. What did you think?' she asked. 'Well it's not really my kind of book, but it was actually quite good.' he said honestly. 'Apart from the fact that you fell asleep' she said giggling slightly. 'Yeah, well I was tired, and reading doesn't exactly wake you up.' he said. 'Yeah that's true. Oh well. Have you ever actually read a muggle book before?' she asked. 'No, only wizarding. If you grew up with muggles, what stories did you get your mother to read to you, since you didn't have the tales of beedle the bard?' he asked. 'Muggles have loads of great childrens stories. I think I might have one in my bag.' she went over to her beaded bag and summoned a book and handed it to Draco. 'Charlie and the chocolate factory?' he asked. 'Yes, Roald Dahl is one of the best muggle childrens authors there is.' she said. 'Okay, I'll read it then.' he said and with that he left the room and went to get ready for breakfast. Hermione picked out a pair of pale blue jeans, black long sleeved top, grey knitted cardigan and a pair of black pumps. She tied her hair up and left for breakfast.
